Glad to hear that they have fixed the coach mode in connected career. Looks like they put a lot of work in this patch to please the buyers. Thank you. -
Re: Madden 13 Patch #3 details
I don't figure it should be a big deal for the simple fact that the names aren't spoken (I don't think) so it should just change the names within the written twitter paragraphs no biggy.

Re: Madden 13 Patch #3 details
Ok. Thats what I'm trying to get clarified here. Emmdot said "most" everything else can be edited. I'm digging in the weeds trying to get something concrete.I don't figure it should be a big deal for the simple fact that the names aren't spoken (I don't think) so it should just change the names within the written twitter paragraphs no biggy.

There are too many pages for me to figure out if this question has already been asked.... so forgive me if it has...
Anyone know if all these changes will take affect in current offline CCM's? Or will I have to create a new one in order to take advantage?Comment

My hypothesis is they don't want cheesers (God did I really just use that word) turning online CCM to a fiasco by making Mark Barron a DT and Aaron Rodgers a WR. But that's all I can come up with. Seems like the schemes and such should be able to still function.XBOX Series X Gamer Tag: AlsbronComment

Re: Madden NFL 13 Title Update #3 Arrives October 16th, Edit CCM Rosters and More
Can someone, doesn't necessarily have to be Frisk, explain to me WHY we can't edit the positions of our players? That seems like one of the most logical things to edit. OLB / DE. Tackle to Guard. Guard to Center. Left Tackle to Right Tackle. Now the depth chart does let us work around the limitation somewhat, but still....
In past years, you were able to edit positions and it would change a players OVR....then you could sign the player for cheap (at their bad position) then edit them over to their good position.Comment

If you can already move the player to the correct position, then why do you need to edit it? I believe schemes affect players by depth chart position, but I could be wrong on that. If not, then it'd be better to adjust how schemes work then allow player editing imo.

Okay so on the draft players being able to be edited. My guess is that they don't want to throw away all their work on the back stories, which I could care less about. They are after all made up, so I doubt anyone would miss it. What ever happened to letting the people who buy the game play how they want to play it offline? I don't care about Bull Griggs, in fact I find it comical that EA would think anyone would. One of the greatest aspects was being able to import draft classes into Madden from NCAA, thus increasing replay value. My only question is if we cannot edit draft classes, what is the thought process behind it? Do you think people want to be told how to play a game offline, or do you not want your grand idea of scripted drafts thrown out?Comment

I'm going to step out of my cone-of-silence for a moment and respond to this post because one, it is like a question I would have asked and two, I've learned since joining the Madden forums...
What I have learned is Madden is not one game for one person (whether that is a positive or negative is debated in other threads) so to ask if people want this or that is always yes. Yes to both, that there are just as many players that want one type of game as another.
I'm not saying don't don't ask/suggest that you want the game your way, just be aware that the game is made for as many different people as possible.Comment

This is an idea I posted about that I believe would help with this issue and add incredible replay value, all the while adding almost limitless storyline possibilities.XBOX Series X Gamer Tag: AlsbronComment

You should only be allowed to make realistic changes. DE to OLB, LG to RG, G to T, S to CB.Comment
