Re: CAP Requests........if anyone wants a certain player CAPed just ask here
I know what you're thinking, but Sterling Sharpe's career was cut short by a neck injury during 1994. That's why he was an "almost nfl great", meaning he was a great player for a short time and therefore wouldn't have made it into the hall of fame due to career ending injury. He would have been the next great WR, but I guess we'll never know.Comment

Ok, a lot of the current Undrafted/Bubble guys are going to be included in the roster that I am doing. It would take too much time to put all their ratings on here individually but some of them will be there. (guys like Torain ect.)Comment

yeah, he had a good game the other day. These type of CAPs are harder to do if i am not familiar with the player. They will be approximate at best. I can try to look things up ect. I am going to have a lot of these guys in as FAs, mainly because their situation on the roster is by no means solid until final cuts take place. After that I am going to do a final release of my roster. Till then most of these guys will be FAs.Comment

Re: CAP Requests........if anyone wants a certain player CAPed just ask here
Well, my process is very general. I look up info on them, pro-day/combine stats if I can get them, try to find some game footage on youtube and look at what kind of player they are (say a power runner bowling guys over, or a wiry, dodgy speed guy) now for QBs, if I can figure it out, guys who would say be like Tebow and play in an option based system in college, they would be good at throwing on the run but disadvantaged at a pro style offense where they are under center and have to do their drops and everything precisely. Other than that I try to find similar players and look at their ratings and work something out based on that. Probably the best CAPs I have seen are from Warren Piecee he looks at thier numbers and runs formulas to calculate the difference between player A and B ect. His process is a lot longer and arguably more accurate, whereas what I do is way more approximate. Still, when I get the roster out you guys can all be the judges.Comment

Re: CAP Requests........if anyone wants a certain player CAPed just ask here
usually I just google search to see what I can find. A pretty decent one so far is http://walterfootball.com/draft2010WR.php but there is not any one source that I would say I go to consistently. Going to be CAPing Huggins in a bit. I have quite a few more players that I am adding and ones that were overlooked for Madden 11.Comment

Warren Piecee was talking about a Pat Tillman CAP last time he was on here. Knowing the work that guy does, when he posts it it will be great.Comment
