I just played one quarter with these settings... what a joke. It's like playing football in fast-forward mode. I was using the Bills, and Trent Edwards was faster Mike Vick circa 2004. The guy who made these must be high on speed or something to think "Very fast" is anywhere close to realistic.

I have to agree, early impressions from me are not too good either. Played 1 half
3 ints thrown by cpu, 1 by me
2 fumbles ea
Pass rush for comp is in your face in about 3secs

On the upside if anyone was having trouble getting sacks these improve your chances greatly as i got 2 and tons of pressure which on the downside led to the 3 ints....pick your poison people

I saw his blog earlier today and have been waiting to see what these sliders looked like since he has had lots of time to tinker with them I was hoping this would be the one and only set I would need to use.

Oh boy......I liked the slow speed setting, I have a bad feeling about this already.

Well, I gotta tell you... after only one quarter I came to the conclusion that these are probably the worst slider and game settings anyone has ever posted on OS for any game... ever.

And I'm usually one to tell people to give sliders a few games before judging them... but this junk is unplayable.

I'm interested in trying the game play sliders, but this guy's logic in how he came up with game speed is severely flawed.

You need to check out 4th and Long. Those guys were running 4.4-4.5 speed in pads!

Did you ever think maybe they're just not for you? It's kind of harsh to just dismiss them, and call them the worst settings ever. Just saying...

Yeah... maybe. But can Trent Edwards run around like Mike Vick in real life? Because he can with these settings.

Trust me... I know there are slider settings out there that aren't for me, but at least when I try them the game is still playable. The game is unplayable with these settings.

Have you tried them? I seriously think this thread is some kind of joke.

I mean this guy knows his stuff so I figured these would be golden?
This goes back to my original theory that sliders are the devil!
One persons "oh my god this is the best ever" slider set is another persons "this set sucks monkey testicles on a daily basis" reply.

You cant make Madden to the real speed of football that would be way to fast most players would be sacked or throw picks on every drop back because they could not comprehend what is happening fast enough.

and speed isnt everything in the NFL (just ask reggie bush). so to base a whole slider set off of speed doesnt make much sense

Yeah... the "Very fast" setting makes the game look like you're watching football in fast-forward. I can't even comment on how good or bad the sliders work, because it's impossible to do anything when everyone is running at super sonic speeds.
