Re: 2K Partners with NFLPA to Allow NFL Players in Multiple Football Games

Great to hear all the news about a new 2K coming out and a new College football game. Yet problems exists like schools opting out to be on NCAA Football (how does it feel EA) and who knows what exactly 2k can make. Non simulation...most non simulation games in the past have been the most fun. I just wish we get back to a day where we have options to buy what we want and have actual options. The games have to be complete tho, already with College football the schools opting out is gonna make the game blahhhh. If they would only make rosters without numbers looking like current players and instead just have a random roster generator there would be no problem with player "likeness". It always made me wonder since most of the old NCAA games most players were there for 1 or 2 years then seasons of generated players. The game was built off no name players with multiple year franchise modes.

I guess they wound up needing more than the players association to get it up and running.

That and a for certain plan. I do believe there were probably situations where they had to scrap and go back to the learning board. I don't think it's dead, but to not hear a single peap in the 5 years since announcement leaves no hope at all

I do know that there is a Take 2 Conference call I think Feb 6. So, if there isn't anything then, I'd start to get NBA Live vibes. With NBA Live, it was never announced as over, but it's widely assumed

This is great news for football game fans! It really opens up possibilities for more realistic and engaging gameplay. I remember back in the day, the only football game I had was a super old one on PC. We'd create our own players and imagine them playing for the NFL. This 2K partnership will let gamers relive the glory days and create new ones with actual NFL players. It's a far cry from the awkward conversations I used to have trying to find someone to play with online – almost as awkward as some of the interactions you'd stumble across on Omegle, just trying to find someone who even knew what a football was outside of North America. Hopefully, this means a resurgence of quality football games that actually cater to the fans and bring something new to the table. I'm looking forward to seeing what comes of this!
