No it said spin and he had the spin symbol underneath his photo. You can put any ability on any player using the hex.

Okay that makes sense, but how do you mean "spin went away"? Did the symbol just not show up in the game or did your player not do a spin move when he was lined up on defense? Does that make sense?

If the symbol disappeared, it may not mean he doesn't have the ability any more.

The symbol disappeared when I added another ability. He's a wide receiver so I couldn't test it out.

One more thing about the Hex i checked a roster with 20 created players and they seem to start at offset: 00082990.

If you find the number for speed burner, you might want to add that as your 6th ability for your wide receiver. That way, you can easily see whether you can really have more than the 5 abilities listed.

Speed burner is 08 and seems to be universal for all positions. I added 6 abilities to ray rice. But only 5 symbols show up, to see 6 you have to go the edit player screen and look at the little green dots lit up. I gotta go to work now but I will post a screen shot later. And somehow I managed to give london Fletcher coffin corner.

Since they are Hex codes, I'd guess that 0A would be the combo of 08 and 02, since you have 0A - 0F between 09 and 10 in hexadecimal.

You are totally right, I forgot about the Hexadecimal factor and not treat these numbers as decimal values. Thank you for reminding me. Also I got to give a big thumbs up to Husker. Without him I doubt any of us would be finding all the possibilities with this game.

That's pretty awesome that you can go to the edit player screen and see that he has 6 abilities and he actually exhibits them. I guess there really are no limits. Thank you so much!

No problem guys...I'm really glad we are working together on this. Are you guys having to transfer the files through the transfer cable or is there a way to transfer the roster files through USB to speed things up? I hate having to make a change on the file, turn off the xbox, unhook the hard drive, connect to the cable, then transfer to the pc, rinse repeat. I hope there is a faster way to do this.

Anyways, what should I do tonight...physics homework or work on editing the file?

I just had an interesting idea. So, you know in this game QBs are pretty damn slow, which is why making Michael Vick has been tough to do so far. Well, what if you took a RB and gave him Laser Arm, Speed Burner, and Rocket Arm. Do you think that would finally give an accurate representation? He wouldn't have great accuracy or tremendous power, but it would probably be adequate enough to work with.

You can use a usb flash drive, which is what I am using. I have the transfer cable myself and it is great for old xbox games like 2k5 but it is laborious to say the least. There is a USB program that is similar to the xplorer 360 program for the transfer cable.

So that will not work, no matter who you put at QB will be slow. It messed his name up too and it froze when i tried to click on edit abilities.

It may work better as a HB, since they are faster than FBs. The problem I think might be that 2k5 had a "Scramble" rating, which for non-QBs is about 10.
