People say Madden 12 has better graphics than All Pro? HAHAHA WRONG! If you have a 1080p HDTV like mine and go to replay, zoom up on ANY player and look at how HIGHLY detailed and crisp the jerseys, socks, helmets, accessories, and football look. DEFINITELY the football!

The throwing animations, route running animations, blocking animations, catching animations, tackle animations (Madeen has some nice tackles too), the referee reactions, the dirt and grass chunks kicking up when they make a hard cut and when they're running, the slipping in the rain or snow, the kickers slip kicking the ball and falling as they kick in rain or snow, players having trouble cutting in rain or snow, the football is a wobbling duck when you don't set your footing (depends on how good the QB is), the double hit and gang tackles, the real time injuries, the challenging the play system, the thousands of plays to add to your playbooks, the WRs keeping their feet in-bounds, the RBs pushing off the blockers, the reach tackling system, the unique stadiums, etc. etc. EVERYTHING I NAMED just now ALL PRO FOOTBALL just COMPLETELY excels in. APF 2K8 has gameplay that will NEVER be touched! Period. No other game does 11 on 11 football as close to perfect as APF does it.

not a madden fan but they do have better graphics, 2k has better detail textures tho

I won't go so far to say APF has better graphics than Madden, but I will say the players & interactions move much more fluidly and cohesively.

With that said, I'd love to post my butt loads of saved Replays to this thread. Does anyone know of a cheap (or even better, free ie shareware) way to screen cap these videos?

Last night I had a game where I had offsetting penalties. I passed the ball pass the line of scrimmage, and there was a defensive pass interference (yes, I said pass interference-something that i've missed playing ea football). The ref stepped up said, theres to fouls on the play, repeat the down. I also had an illegal touching on a screen pass, and an illegal man down field (all things missing from ea's so called sim)

The animations on this game are darn good especially the tackling. If you run into your lineman your RB reacts to it, if speed rush with the DE he actually collapses the pocket like in real life, if you try to throw to a Wr across the opposite side of feild your Qb has to take time to turn around a throw it not like in the Ncaa's today where you could do a 180 throw in a slit second. I'm really loving this game so far and I got it for a steal lol. It does alot of things so much better than even today's EA's game and it's a pretty old game to boot.

Depends on what you are working with... Hauppauge HDPVR is one way to go... but if you are looking for something to go direct to PC I wouldn't know where to start.

Read through the thread and decided to play the demo of this game. Absolutely love it, great football game.

Went right to Amazon and purchased it. Had some credit left on a gift card so I got it basically for free!

I saw Gary Plummer being interviewed on ESPN the other day, and the first thing I thought was, "Hey, that guy was in All Pro Football 2K8!"
