XPort 360 Drag and Drop Problem
I got my Xport and I installed everything relatively easily. I can use the Xport program to open and view the hard drive's content when running the program as an administrator on Vista. I know where to drop everything to, except I am not allowed to drag and drop the folders to the Xport window. I can't drag and drop, or copy and paste, I have no idea what I am supposed to do. When I run the program in compatibility mode for XP or a previous version of Windblows either the same thing happens or the program just refuses to open. Any help would be appreciated.Tags: None -

Re: XPort 360 Drag and Drop Problem
this is really making me mad now, i have been posting all over this site about my problem and not a single person has replied to me. Aren't forums supposed to be used to help people with their problems? I have no roster for my NFL 2k5 right now and i really need help with this problem. The guy who started this thread in April and he still has received no help.Comment

Re: XPort 360 Drag and Drop Problem
yeah i tried changing the administrator settings but it still doesn't let me drag and drop the 53450030 folder. I even tried using the program with XP Compatibility. But the weird thing is that when i tried to copy a madden 08 360 roster file, it worked. It just doesnt let me drag and drop to the xbox roster folder for 2k5.Comment

I'm having the same problem. I'm also on a Vista laptop. Could that be the problem.Comment

Re: XPort 360 Drag and Drop Problem
I was having issues with this the other night, but I might have a solution. Copy the UDATA folder from Partion 3 on your Xbox 360 hard drive onto the desktop and copy the NFL 2K5 roster UDATA folder into the Xbox 360 UDATA folder. Then move the updated Xbox 360 UDATA folder back onto the 360 hard drive. I never had a chance to verify the fix the other night, since the Xport is a POS. I'll probably give it a whirl again this weekend.Comment

Re: XPort 360 Drag and Drop Problem
I was having the same problem too. Try using Xplorer instead of Xport software. it does the same thing but it actually worked for me. Also do the administrator thing if you have vista. I have a laptop too.
And i meant use the Xplorer software not Xchange or action replay. You still use the actual Xport to do the transferThey call me "The Manual"Comment

Re: XPort 360 Drag and Drop Problem
I used X-plorer first, too, instead of the X-port software, as it came more recommended by almost everybody.
Long story short: back-up your saves first.Originally posted by Alexis de TocquevilleThe America Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money.Comment

Re: XPort 360 Drag and Drop Problem
Somewhat off topic, but I need help:
It's been a year since I have used the Action Replay, and I know how to use it and get rosters but...I am running into a problem I just can't seem to get around. I try to drag and drop FNG's roster onto the right column of the AR, but it won't let me and it reads "can't connect to server" what is the problem? Is my AR program out dated or something? thanksComment

Re: XPort 360 Drag and Drop Problem
Xport 360 (all versions) and Vista when UAC control is turned on. If you right click the Xport 360 icon and “Run as administrator” you can access your 360 HDD but you still cant drag and drop files to it. The only solution currently is to turn off UAC control in Vista. Hopefully will fix properly in the next version (see codejunkies for updates).
To turn off UAC control in Vista: Open control panel, open “User Accounts”, the option “turn User Account Control on or off” is the second option under “Change your picture”.
