I'm just hoping it would be possible to add something like whether you would like to save the roster as PAL or NTSC. Though I'm probably the only one.

well, it's not the end of the world changing the file's Root/ID name to the PAL version but it would be a nice addition to this already wonderful app

Umm download it, open it, use it. Its really simple and user friendly. Once you start using it and have specific questions then we can help, other that that just look and see it couldnt be simplier to use.

I have searched a bit but cannot find...is there a way to export the Team stats (Franchise save) from the editor to an Excel file? Cannot seem to even be able to copy and paste...

Finn, I just wanted to drop in and say you are amazing. Your work is truely something desirable. I received my Xsata last week to use on my 360 Elite, and after downloading some roster files and finding out how to do everything, I downloaded your editor last night per what you told me through PM to change control to just 1 team instead of 32, and it worked like a charm. While I was in there doing that, I took it upon myself to go in and edit a bunch of the equipment on some of the players and such. I have 1 question for you...how come I selected to put white sleeves on like Terrance Newman, Gerald Sensabaugh and a few other players, but it won't show up in the game?? Does selecting elbow and wrist bands prevent it from showing up? Its a pet peeve of mine to have my roster identical to real life and this kinda bothered me. Please let me know what is the deal with this, that's all I need!!! Thankssssssssss so much!

Couple quick questions with hopefully quick responses.

1. I searched and found a comment by puja that draft classes from one franchise save could not be moved over to a save of a franchise that you have in progress. Is there a quick workaround to move classes from one franchise save to another. For example could I copy and paste the players from one to the other and then just relink the name, would this bring over the player's bio and attributes?

The reason I ask is I recently started a 06/07 franchise from puja's file and am nearing the end of season one and would like to have the 07/08 pool filled with actual players. I was hoping to use the draft pool from puja's 07/08 franchise file so that attributes stay apples to apples. I can't believe that I am the only one (as a Bengal fan) that has wanted to rewrite the past 5 years...cough Rams fans...and it seems like someone may have encountered this before.

2. Are there any things at the end of the season that I should pay particular attention to: salary cap, number of players on cpu rosters (I am controlling 1 team for all but the draft), etc. The new editor seems like it makes it possible to make a large amount of between season corrections should they be necessary.

My plan is to take the file after the draft and update with the new draft generated file and edit the draft pool and make any necessary changes to cpu controlled teams.

Hopefully these have been done before and people have some good tips, but if not then I will post whatever trial and error results I get in case others want to do this in the future.

I'm having a lot of trouble with Finn's Editor. First off, every time I load a roster, a message comes up saying to auto-repair name corruption. Then, anytime I go to save the file, the program stops responding and shuts down. Afterwards, whenever I go to load that same roster again, an error message comes up saying it can't open file because it cannot find the path specified.

If anyone has an idea about how to get this to work, it would be very appreciated.

This could be that particular roster, not the editor. Try several different rosters and see if you can replicate the problem.

Using different rosters, the name corruption error isn't always there. However, no matter what I do, I can't save the roster in the editor. When I do, the program stops responding and shuts down. Afterwards, the editor won't let me open the roster again as it can't find the specific path of the roster. I can edit the roster fine in the editor, but it just won't allow me to save. How do I get around this?

IDK. I kno some guys have Vista issues. Some, it's the version of the editor. PM Finn.

I have seen him posting in other areas of OS. Im pretty sure he answers PM's but I do think he has pretty much moved on.
