I dont know if this is the correct topic but was someone having a problem with Roy Attieh not staying in the PBP and Photo options in the editor?

If so, I had the problem with Dave Yovanovits. I edited C Dave Wohlabaugh into Yovanovits but it went back to Wohlabaugh after I clicked "accept". I noticed that it went back when I put him on the Jets for my 2K5 roster. I then put Yovanovits on OG Travis Claridge and the same thing happened.

I realized that it was the PBP and Photo index for Yovanovits. I deleted him from the index and saved them. I then went back into the PBP and Photo index and added him back by typing in his name instead of copying and pasting.

After doing that, I fixed Yovanovits in the editor and then saved. I checked it in-game and sure enough, it was Yovanovits.

Basically, if that happens again, just delete the player from the PBP and Photo index and save both files. Then, go back into them and type in the player you deleted. The problem should be fixed.

Yeah that was me that had the problem, it came down to having an extra space behind his name. Which caused the name to be skipped, i simply deleted the space behind his name and it was fixed.

Here's another request -

Any chance of us being able to edit the team's overall rating? For example, in my 2k5 roster, I have the Ravens offense at 75 and their defense at 90. It's at 86 overall and im trying to get it at 85 but it doesnt want to go my way.

Any possibility of being able to edit the overall rating? Thanks.

Just an FYI for PUJA. I figured out how to correctly calculate cap space in the editor, taking into account the penalty. I will also give you the ability to clear the penalty for those who like/need to bend the rules.

hey finn,

do u think in future editors that u create, we will be able to adjust the socks length? I see that the players have different lengths of socks. Thanks so much for your efforts!!!

1) Can you make it possible to edit who are the players on the pro bowl rosters?
2) Can you change the name of stadiums?
3)For cold weather conditions, can you set it to where we can pick what color the sleeves will be? Or turn sleeves off in cold weather if you can't?
4) Is it not possible to do anything more with playbooks? Could you make it possible to either delete formations or provide a 3-4 scratch playbook? I'm sure you'd need a different program/editor for playbooks.

To add on to a feature already present, would the ability to see stats from players in other games played in the week be possible? Similar to the weekly rundown in the sportscenter show.

I just installed your current editor, version 3.0.1.7 and didnt edit or delete anything like I usually do. Anyway, I opened the "final" roster update from VC as is and when I went to the Ravens, that "list index error (-1)" message popped up and it went straight to the CB position and Dale Carter was missing.

Just wanted to let you know.

I re-downloaded the final roster the other day that Rickster posted for me a while back.

I will re-install the editor and see if the same thing happens. Before, I left everything as is and was going team by team adjusting the run/pass ratio and when I clicked the right arrow to go to the Ravens, that message popped up and took me to the CB position and Dale Carter was missing.

The main screen had all 53 players starting with the C position. I will post back tonight letting you know what happened.

If possible, I wish FINN could eliminate the "bounds checking" or whatever so there wouldnt be any problems. If something goes wrong, it's on the user and I personally have no problem with that.

Hey Finn,

With the addition of the xbox360 button on your UI, NFL2KController compatibility is broken.

Instead of spending my time updating that program again I'd like to instead propose that I just write the input parser (and player extractor).

I downloaded Turbo Delphi earlier today and started playing around with it (I really like it, it's very user friendly). If you can give me an interface to program against I'll write the input parser and player extractor.

Well, I installed the new editor again, opened the final roster from VC and when I go to the Ravens, I still received that index out of bounds error and it goes straight to the CB position and you can see Dale Carter is missing. I left everything in the index files and final roster as is and still received that error. Oh well.
