    hey finn,
do any of these files include NFL Flms music like the ones in Madden? one other ? is it possivle to replace the in game music comepletely?

Edit: After rereading your original post, I realized that I can add my own WMA files of NFL Films Music. Are these available (legally) as shared files anywhere?

    thanks Finn for your efforts,
    pete

Re: 360 Users who want custom soundtracks.

can someone post or email me the original TDATA file which contains the original music (if you go into the folders under TDATA and open them up (i think there's only 2), then you can see the MUSIC subfolder inside)? while uploading finn's files i accidentallly deleted the original files and now there is no music at all (which is okay by me), but since i wasn't able to transfer finn's file either (MS cable evidently not transferring) i have no music at all. again that's ok by me except when i watch games played by the CPU the games freeze. i know i'm an idiot for not remembering which file was the original one, but if anyone can help me i'd appreciate it. my email is: [email protected]. btw, i think it's possible, if you could do it with precision, unlike me, to replace the original music with your own music without having to go into the stadium music editor. i was able to look at the music folder, though i didn't open it. any thoughts on that?

There is no original music in the TDATA folder for 2k5. If you don't want to use custom soundtracks, just turn off use custom stadium music in the presentation options.

Is there a way to add more folders, so we can add more songs or just 4 folders? Also how do you stop it from being repetitive? I will select 3 different songs for 1st downs, yet it only plays 1 of them constantly instead randomly choosing one.

okay. can you explain to me why i don't get any music at all? i don't know why after trying to import your file, i don't get any music during my games. i guess my only option is to delete my franchise file and start over. i don't want to do that, but i can't figure out what i did wrong.

Re: 360 Users who want custom soundtracks.

okay guys, i will post this after a long night of frustration and then i will turn in for the night, (hoping someone can help me). here goes: i've tried to get Finn's custom music files onto my 360 HDD with no success seeing it in game. i can see it via the Xport and Xplorer360 software(s) (latest versions, too). here is the branch of folders and subfolders i see on my HDD partition 3: Compatibility > Xbox1 > TDATA > fffe0000 and another folder labeled 53450030 (don't know what that is). but when i go to the fffe0000 folder here is the branch that i get: fffe0000 > dtb and music > 0007 (i deleted the placeholders) > and the following WMA files are seen 00070064, 0007005f, ......3E, 3d, 2d, 2c, 2B, and 2A. all of the WMA files i can see on my harddrive but when i go in game the only tracks i see on the stadium music screen are the default ones that are included by 2k. one weird thing i do note is that the dates listed for the modified folders and files doesn't correspond with today's date. this happens no matter which software program i use. btw, i use MS's migration transfer cable and i'm running Windows XP Home. like i said, i don't have a problem with my computer seeing my hdd, and my computer indicates that the files are being transferred from the computer's hdd, but when i go in game i see nothing. i hope that its something that i am doing wrong, but at this point, i don't know what it could be. i know you guys who are good at this kinda thing must be exhausted by all of the "i'm stuck please help me" pleas by now, but like everyone before me, i'm baffled by this whole process and can't begin to know what i've done wrong. do you think its the screwy MS cable? (i ask because it took me at least 10x before i got the franchise file on my hdd and even then i don't know how i did it, i could never accurately describe to someone else what i did that made it work). or is there something i've done in dl the file, saving it to my hdd or unzipping it? i didn't get the exact same paths as finn describes in his tutorial, but i still see the files (again WMA's included on my 360 HDD via the migration cable. that at least says that the files were written to the HDD, doesn't it? anyway, if you guys can help, i appreciate it. if not, i'll play without the custom tracks. thanks for at least reading my long post...

                  The path must be:

                  Partition 3\Compatibility\Xbox1\TData\fffe0000\music

In the music folder, you should see a 0007 folder and a file named ST.DB. There are also 0003, 0006 and 0008 folders but they only hold the .TXT place holders and may not transfer if they don't contain anything (assuming you deleted .TXT files but did not add your own same named WMAs). If you don't have that exact path on your 360 HDD then it won't work. If you do, read below:

When you go into the Stadium Music Editor click "Add New Clip". This will bring up a list of songs. Scroll to the bottom and you should see the see 4 additional soundtracks. Stadium Rap, Stadium Rock, Buccaneers and Network Themes. The only soundtrack with any actual WMA's is the Network Themes soundtrack unless you replaced .TXT files with your own .WMA files. Click Network Themes and you will be presented with the list of Network Themes. (i.e. Fox, Fox, Fox Short, CBS etc...). NOTE: You have to create your own NFL 2K5 Stadium Music saves using the network themes as they are not provided in what I posted by using the in game Stadium Music creator.

If it still doesn't work. Extract the ST.DB file from your 360 HDD and post it here.

                  Good Luck.

                    Finn or anyone,

Do you have the old NFL today theme song from the 80s along with NFL Live from the early 90s, or where did you find the others.

                        thanks

You may not find WMAs but you can convert .wav or mp3 files to WMAs. I did a google search and THE FIRST item returned had stuff you may have been interested in as downloadable .wav files.

OK, I got the files, now do I just place the files within one of the other folders, renaming them to match the .txt placeholders?
