That might be the case. Inside Pitch had the same thing. When you pause it the timers counts down, and if you ever reach the maximum, then you'll have to forfiet.

It seems like a good system to me. I just hope they fix the "pausing" by getting endless delay of game penalties, or letting it hang at the kickoff.

i have more problems with the delay of game and kickoff crap then pausing. i hope they realize this.

I am sure that they will fix it so that you can't just leave the game at any point without forfeiting...even during kickoffs and penalties. This was one of the biggest complaints last year for online and i would be shocked if they didn't adress it.
