Simmed stats are poor, total letdown.... but everything else rocks!

The ONE thing I was waiting for was simmed stats to be realistic, and they aren't. I simmed 5 minutes quarters and those seemed to be the closest. 10 guys with over 4000 yards passing is unrealistic. WRs don't get close to enough yards or receptions.

Why is it that EA can do a marvelous job at simmed stats and Visual Concepts can't? I mean, come one. VC does everything else so good, but they just can't seem to sim stats right for us hardcore sim guys. They got EVERYTHING else right this year, but for those of you looking for perfect stats, look elsewhere.

Regardless, I'll be playing it for a LONGGGGGGGG time anyway. I know there are others out there like me, so just wanted to update you... otherwise, it's 100

This is something that VC has admitted they've always had a problem with. I don't mind it so much, 10 players with 4,000 yards isn't THAT far-fetched.

i dont think madden does a very good job in simmed stats.. its "ok" but i think there arent enough plays that are simmed.. could be wrong tho.

It's surprising that of all things, they can't figure out how to sim stats properly. That seems like something even I could write an algorithm to do... unless they're actually trying to get their simmed stats to be on par with what a user would get using the same quarter lengths, as opposed to being accurate with NFL numbers.

It's surprising that of all things, they can't figure out how to sim stats properly. That seems like something even I could write an algorithm to do... unless they're actually trying to get their simmed stats to be on par with what a user would get using the same quarter lengths, as opposed to being accurate with NFL numbers.
