i haven't done any real testing of this but i think fatigue and trying to pull special moves might cause some fumbles.
staley fumbled twice in a game until i started to sub in buckhalter maybe once every five plays.
again, not sure if i'm just blowing smoke but it did seem to make a difference.

I think Jb hit the nail right on the head i'm playing GreenBay for the NFC Championship and man Tiki fumbled 3 times and at the most cruical times but i think it had to do with me using him to much(fatigue)and while i think with him being fatigued and using special moves it made him fumble more. Oh and i did win 24-21 on to the Superbowl baby to face The RaidersComment

Yea, but then how do you check someone's fatigue? If it's that bar you see at the presnap, then I usually have it filled before i snap the ball.
In the sliders though i did lower my fatigue to 0. But I thought that would just make my players recover slower after a play.Comment

I did also lower my fatigue in the sliders, it does make them recover slower. I also wait till my players fatigue bar gets filled till i hike it.That is my question also but i think it had to do with all the carries he had, even though his fatigue bar was filled, or at least i hope it aint some way for the CPU to make a come back. I mean u take away those 3 fumbles and the route was onComment

Anybody notice how ugly the fumbles look?? Somebody fumbles and it goes right to another player, no pile or nothing. maybe I just havent seen it yet. then the whistle blows even before anybody touches the player who recovered...wierdComment

3 things -
fatigue
UNcharged special moves
getting hit on the side of the ball
Limit those and you are good.Comment
