Re: I can\'t believe that I\'m the only one here that has problems with the

So one person says that if you are UNcharged then you will fumble, and also if you are hitting the charge button to run or to get charged up then you will fumble as well.

Sounds like a double standard...which is it?

Still no one answered my question...does loosening up on the analog stick make the RB or WR hold the ball better so that they won't fumble?

I'm a Redskin's fan and I remember some key fumbles over his tenure here. He's a very good back, but just wait Carolina, juuuuuust wait.

I hit an odd fumble stat occurance last night.
I play the Vikings in franchise, and I was playing vs. the Packers.
I noticed the package and lineup and made the correct audible vs. the Packers offensive audible...
I could forsee a high probablity of a run from Green coming on the weak side, while it's FB was on the strong side and so was it's tight end. I had the run to the right covered and cheated up my Outside linebackers to be ready for an outside run.
Sure enough, it came to the weak side as the play clock had too little time for the Packers to make another audible and it went with it... but it was a toss to the HB as Green was running to the weak side and my blitzing outside linebacker, Clairborne, just came in and leveled Green as the pitch came to him. Needless to say, Green never got his hands on the ball.
The odd stat occurance was that Farve was credited with the fumble (which yeah, he did just toss it to a guy who was being leveled and the ball just bounced off of Green)
and I got credited with a fumble recovery, but did not receive any credit for causing the fumble in the stats. I.E. no player got the forced fumble stat.
It was a very satisfying play!
I love how making the right decision at the right time, and the chessmatch of placing your players in the right places just as the play clock expires and audibles vs. time, all makes a difference when playing.

Fumbling has to do with how you get hit and how your secure ball stat is.

If you are using the charge button it actually helps because the ball carrier covers the ball with both hands.

If you spin or stif arm or juke the ball is open to a swat from the D player so even if you have a good ball carrier he is open to fumble if you try and pull one of these move and get tackled. It's even worse if you have a guy who isn't great with the ball or if you pull one of these moves and get hit by more than one guy.

You just have to be smart about when and how you pull your moves. I find this to be the tough part throughout the game is you really have to know and use ALL the buttons in the right situations. As you get better at knowing when and when not to try certain moves the fumbles will go down.

I learned right away that I shouldn't use the spin move in a crowd!
