A few weeks ago I wemt through and lowered all RB's by ten points in their BTK category. I also went through and made adjustments to a bunch of other players also. I have noticed a huge difference with the changes that I made. If for some reason I get fired in Franchise which then means I have to start all over again, I'm going to go through the entire NFL roster and make updates. I think that this is one of the few problems that VC overlooked before releasing this game out. I think that one more category needs to fixed for kickers since the computer never misses a field gaol in any kind of weather setting.

Somebody needs to let Visual Concepts in on this so they can fix it via roster update and force a update to play online. If they do this we got a whole new ball game. I mean if they can force a patch then they can force new rosters with it. There's a lot of player ratings that are completely wrong and that needs to be fixed too.

I read these post all the time, and the difference is Sega and EA uses a different formula on how to use attributes, plus remember the tackles are pressure sensitive and angle oriented. So make sure you have the proper angles when tackling. I have no problem with tackling because of my audibles I set up against the probabilties and down situation. I play on default all the time no slider adjusments because I want to understand how VC, enterprets football, so when you play on default trying to understand their philosphy, instead of trying to make it a perfect game you exact more fun out of the product.

Until we know how sega uses these attributes no one can say that a player shouldnt be rated in the 30's or whatever people think is too low for an NFL player. The attributes are all relative to each other on an NFL scale. So a 30 just means that particular player is on the low end of the NFL talent scale. Meaning 0 is the lowest any NFL player would perform and still be good enough for the NFL, 100 is the best a player in the NFL performs. Plus VC said that the ratings count different for each position. Until we know how they crunch the numbers we cant say for sure that those ratings are wrong. By having the scale this way it allows a greater difference betweenplayers. If everyone was rated 60 and higher then they would act closer in talent.

That being said it seems like lowering the break takle might help.

I thought you couldn't use rosters online?

Or is that only the PS2 version that can't use updated rosters for online games?

I thought you couldn't use rosters online?

Or is that only the PS2 version that can't use updated rosters for online games?
