Wow. I would have been thrown off these forums if I would have let THIS fly 6 months ago. The Mods must like you solja. You're still here.

Back on topic, I too would like reassurance that NFL2k will be around for many years to come. The only way to do that is to constantly suggest ways to improve the game, and most importantly, BUY the game year after year. My $48.43 anxiously awaits in my pocket for NFL2k5! Woo! Woo!

the mods do need to edit it. trying to work around the curse words not allowed is against the rules so no matter how you look at it you're creating work for the mods (hence the warnings i suggest you stop ignoring).

making money and sales numbers aren't cut and dry. as a business owner you can make a lot of money if you manage it right.

for instance, EA makes a lot of money, but just to cover advertising costs EA has to sell a lot. EA makes a lot of money but it they spend $500 at the senior bowl, they have to sell 10 copies, for example just to cover that.

sega, as we all know, hasn't advertised. this will have to change only if they don't make money. you can look at the la clippers vs. la lakers approach. the clippers are one of the worst sports franchises as far as success on the court, but one of the more profitable sports teams in sports.

does the management care they aren't winning championships? no. they are making money. it is all in the bottomline.

if they were unhappy with the sales of ESPN NFL and NBA they would have dropped in cost a while back. it waited for the season to end to drop NFL only $10. College Hoops was a genius move to drop it to $29. it is now on back-order everywhere and that creates interest. people will wonder about why the hype and may desire to purchase it?
