Man your gonna get disconnected no matter what system your on....and for the game being built for the Xbox I dont really see that much of a difference in the models. So I say if you can afford it do it, but don't press yourself because it's really not worth the extra bucks once you look at the big picture....atleast not for 1 game.

<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">I can count the number of times I got disconnected from xbl on one hand last year. Trying to play ESPN on PS2 last year was a crap shoot and i got disconnected quite often. If you think you won't see much of a difference, keep dreaming. Also, there is a buttload of great games coming out on xbox so I don't think people would be buying an xbox just for 1 game.

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

well see I guess it's different for different people....I got disconnected from ghost recon alot on XBL but didn't hardly get dissconect when playing ESPN/Madden.But do what rocks your boat man.

ESPN for ps2 last year online was awesome - the leagues were fantastic.. too bad you could never get a game completed and when you did the lag was like pulling teeth. This is coming from someone who is far from a xbox muchacho de aficionado.

I've owned a PS2 from release (still works too) and plan on taking the plunge into buying a XBOX based on NFL2k5. The reason being I own a 57" Sony HDTV and Sony Surround and want to get use out of the HD and 5.1 with my videogames. Also I'm sick of having to do rosters on NCAA every single year and can't find an X-Port for the life of me. So I will pick up an Action Replay so I can download some rosters off the net. I'll still keep my PS2 around for GTA San Andreas and Grand Turismo 4 but it's gonna be taking a backseat to the XBOX from now on with my Sports games.

The players come and then they go, but one thing for certain that I know,

Anyone that knows videogames knows xbox has the advantage ..no doubt about that. Its technology is two years newer then ps2's. PS2 has a load of games though and alot of quality games as well but im more of an xbox fan and xbox has many sweet games as well. I love its graphics capabilities and i rather support an American Company ...an American company that dont like being 2nd place at something they do. This only means better things in the future for the xbox gamer.
