    Is the blocking fixed

I havent been able to look at too many movies of the game but i need to know whether or not the pass blocking has been fixed in the game. i havent read anything yet that adresses the issue of pass blocking in the game but for me that was my biggest issue. so if some one knows somthing i dont pleas post.

considering it isn't really broken my guess is you'll be disappointed. if you're ONLY talking about the ends in contain slipping inside the Ts without being touched, can't say whether that's been improved but there isn't any other problem with the pass blocking... just a problem with people using the pocket.

That is what im talking about. for the most part everything else with blocking is cool but i cant tell you how many controllers ive thrown after getting sacked 3 times in a row watching some po dunk defensive end run around an all world tackle that i created with pass blocking turned all the way up. i mean if they didn't fix it do they at least have a slider for it i went and read the Q.A but no one seemed to ask that question. i mean even if you dont use the pocket well there is no reason to watch defenders run around your blockers without at least showing an animation of them getting beat

I hope this is addressed as well as a few other blocking issues i mentioned in another thread. particularly Hot route RB blocking A.I., lead blocker(FB) on running plays A.I., and blockers running ahead of the ball carrier on big plays.
the pass blocking bug isnt a game killer like it was for me in madden'04 but it is frustrating and happens WAY too often. and i always let the cpu control the QB drop backs and roll outs.

Learn to use the pocket. That's what they really have to do in the NFL.

this is the one case in the game where you have to control your own drop back. don't know why they'd make it that way for this ONE time so if for that reason alone i'd say it was a mistake. if you watch the line and see the ends taking those very wide approaches just control your QB and drop back a little farther and the Ts will pick them up. then you probably want to step up into the pocket.

it's a frustrating thing for people trying to learn the game new b/c the best strategy is let the cpu do the drop at least until you get comfortable and then here it is that letting the cpu drop for you doesn't work.

but that's an easy work around that works pretty good. not perfect but does the job.
