    As a grad assistant, it was practice NEVER to shut the lab computers off. This way they could be accessed remotely from off campus if need be. I'd say the longest stretch a computer was on in my lab was about 3 years. I wouldn't recommend this for an Xbox though - one of the computers in my lab had it's hard drive become corrupt, but that was one computer out of 3.

        If it means that much to you just write down all the info and when you get back go into the Situation mode and finish your game.

                    heres the real kicker, last year when you "simulated to end" during halftime, the stats would stay the same when you were done the game
