    ESPN Play Action

I think they need to improve this and have it like Madden, where you can actually get faked out by the play action. In Madden, the camera stays on a RB to make you believe he has the ball then zooms back out, I'm sure many of you know how this works in Madden. It's a different case for ESPN...it has no effect at all, I'm not sure against the cpu, but definately when the defense is user controlled.

          Re: ESPN Play Action

If I'm not mistaken, there are times the camera is "fooled" by playaction. Doesn't happen anywhere near as much as it does in Madden though. But I think that's a good thing. I think the camera deception in Madden is a good innovation, but it shouldn't happen EVERY time. People run playaction in situations that don't call for it (3rd and long) and the camera is still always fooled.

So no, I don't think it needs to be implemented in the same way Madden does. It should occur when it's appropriate (when a person is running to set up the playaction pass, not on every playaction play).
HBO's "The Wire" should rank as one of the top 10 shows EVER on tv - period

I agree 100% with you. Its fine how it is in ESPN. Playaction fakes don't fake you out everybody the same way everytime in the NFL.

I don't like Madden's. Not because of the camera, but the thing is supposed to make you believe that, like they make the user-cursor under the RB when the playaction happens, making it believe that he has the ball.

I don't really like it like that. Sometimes the camera shouldn't even be faked out. But then I think what would be cool is if there are times that they think it's a PA, and then they actually hand it off, so the camera is fooled that way. I think the game should have that.
