    scrambling qauterbacks

Humm the one problem i see online r the people who use the QB to rush way tooo muchhhh, i played this one dude some time ago who as soon as he snapped the ball he would go off with Mcnabb he wouldn't even look to see if he had any receivers he would just scramble and it got annyoing, i think they should make the QB more prone to fumbles when thier on the run, like madden does, that's one thing i give to madden, when the ab rans most of the time he will fumble 8/11 times and in espn they never doo, if the idiot it gona abuse the QB he should be prone to fumble alot, he should fumble 5/7 times theb

I could see that as being alright but when u abuse that and rush like 15 times or 20 with a qb it gets annoying. I played this person who played with the eagles and i swear he snapped the bal land took off with Donovan at least 3 times in a row and he kept doing that every time on 3th down and boy was i mad

i feel your pain but it used to be like that (fumbles). think, 5/7 fumbling is way too high. guy runs vick 6 times a game should fumble 3 or 4 if he gets hit? so make it what, 2/10... then you have the issue of guys running 10-20 times but mostly out of bounds so still no real problem. it's a double edged sword. i think the only answer here is a little hand holding. if the play isn't a designed QB draw then it should be harder to run for the first 3 seconds (time it should take for pocket to collapse) and then maybe ok.

the immediate answer would be to fix the LB pursuit and QB spy. that won't completely solve the issue though.

basically your potential solution would screw those that scramble legitimately but the problem is a very big one for playing random people.

Yeah.. The most I ran vic was 9 times in one game.. Only 3 were called played.. I scrambled cause A.. no one was open & seen a open lane.. B was in the 4th quarter & the D was in prevent defense..& only once did I run Vick consecutive times.. Both late in the game & down by 2 TDS.. Its sad ppl have to justify running a QB, cause of the Arses.. I had tons of chances to gain 10-20 yards running Vick when he rolls out, but thats cheap.. When I roll out 9/10 I pass the ball to the open reciver..

I recently rented madden 05 and found that online i it was very easy to stop the running QB, i think it was because of the pursuit angles, madden seems to do that a little better than ESPN, also when i saw some one rush or did rush myself it seemed that the defensive immdately picked it up which seemed cool. Im not braggin about madden or anything cuase Espn still does a lot of stuff better than madden for thier online gameplay, In madden u can't even challenge
