Our player ratings are dead on they just have certain postions rated higher due to using large att's.

Ok I get everything about how you put your ratings and it makes perfect sense, but I just want to clarify something.

In the sentece I quoted, by "large att's", you mean - Large # of attempts - , right???

^incorrect. he means "large attributes;" those values rated 100 or above


the original statement wasnt exactly accurate, however, as large attributes actually dont affect the OVR rating beyond the normal range.

eg if you were to adjust both Roscoe Parrish & Devin Hester from their 40-time SPDs of 94 & 95 respectively up to the maximum large attribute setting of 127 & increase their 99 AGL up to 127 so as to generate a more exciting/elite return game... neither will see an increase in OVR rating in spite of these significant boosts

Thanks for the explanation puja. I'm just tryin to get my ___ together. I wanna put out some files, but I'm trying to do my research first so I don't come out looking like a total train wreck. I think I'm gonna try some historic teams first. Maybe I'll try some teams/years that you/capa/dolphin haven't got yet. If that's even possible.

In giving this NFL settings a try , I am currently 7wins 2 losses . Most have been by 1 touchdown or less . I must admit it does change the way I play . I am thinking 2 plays ahead, mixing playes , In the 1st quarter I look for there weakness, does the long pass work , does the run up the middle work . I do not however completly give up on passing for run , or visa vera. To be successful its important to be balanced.
In one game i was losing 17 to 3 , going into the fourth quarter, I wasnt able to get anything going prior , I came back in a nail biter winning 28 to24 , wow I could not believe it . After a game like that , I come away saying This Game Is So Awesome!! Fun ,Fun Fun . So, in closing here , I think these setting are pretty close to right . I am looking forward to playing good enough to get into the playoffs and watching the Real Panthers go there as well, and then to the Super Bowl !!

I figured while Im waiting for microsoft to send me my migration cable I would download these rosters and settings and fire up the old xbox. I just want to say thank you to those who made these rosters, as this game is still an amazing game. It may not look as good as it does on the 360 but it still plays great.

I just played one game- my steelers vs the Giants and they beat me up pretty bad 31-13. I got burnt deep 3 times! That never happens in Madden!

My recievers did drop alot of balls though. Is there any slider help for that? I noticed it is maxed out as it is.

As far as the receiver drops go that's always going to be a factor no matter what roster you use. A couple things you can do is turn the pursuit slider to 0 which we are doing for next year, and were also thinking about upping the hold on to ball, not sure on that one yet.

Madden is a joke to me more than ever, To be honest I have no reason to ever go back with all the tool we have to play with.

Thanks I will give that a try. I loaded some of the networks themes music and it really adds to the game. It's amazing really. Are there any cool rock songs anywhere to download that you hear at the games? thanks

using your last roster dated file, I cant start the regular season due to a bunch of teams being over the cap.
how do you fix this?
