Thanks. I will update it in my file. I think it’s OK for others to do it in the game themselves in this case. When I temporarily changed AB ‘s number to 84 and Ben Watson’s to 82 (I’ve since changed him back), the PBP was not lost. Both players actually have their full PBP names in the game (Watson has always been in the game, and there was another player named Antonio Brown), so changing the jersey number doesn’t affect them like it would other players. And BTW I always try to use the B Button to back out after editing something in game, instead of clicking through.

Trying to find the BEST roster guys. I know we're in this thread, but is this the best roster/franchise for 2K5? Love to hear your feedback?

What could use an update is Gardner Minshew. Only seen a small sample but I think he deserves a better rating. I can do it on my own with the editor but I would prefer someone with more experience editing and not bias (fantasy team) do the evaluation.

Going to edit the Jags depth chart so he's starting. And move AB to Free Agents. Not sure how to do either but I will learn. Really cool how much you can edit these rosters with the 2K5 Editor.

First off I think this roster file is great, very accurate. However I'm trying to change some names in the editor and when I edit one name like thomas it changes other players named Thomas. Is there a work around with that? I could do it last year but I think it messed up my franchise mode

Thanks for the kind words. Sounds like you are editing a name that is linked or shared among multiple players. Check out my post on the bottom of page 6 of this thread for a response to your question. If you need any clarification, let me know.

I’d like to move AB to free agents, maybe reduce is rating. Couldn’t figure that out within the editor. And thought maybe I should ask so I don’t mess up my rosters.

If I'm not mistaken, all you need to do is open up the UDATA folder from the zip file, find the folder "53450030", open that, and there should be a folder inside with an alphanumeric name. Copy this alphanumeric folder INTO the 53450030 folder on your OG Xbox. This is assuming you are able to FTP to it.

Hey thanks bro for all your hard work and dedication to keeping what is still the greatest football game of all time..NFL 2K5 ...I've know you explained several times on how to get these rosters on Original Xbox ...I've tried several times using Action Replay and it keep saying this isnt a valid Xbox save.....Could you repack a file for OG Xbox and send it to me or post it i need this in my life!!!

Moving players (assigning, releasing, etc.) is done in the actual game, not the editor.
