Such rejoicing would ensue, I readily await the opportunity to give 2k all my pennies. Have long since grown weary of Madden sadtimes.

Re: Sign If You Want A Highly Customizable 2K Next-Gen Game
They might as well. 2K Sports has like, what? 1 annual game on their roster now? MLB 2K in some years didn't do much better than APF did, and NHL 2K actually did much worse than APF in most years before and after NHL 2K8, and both NHL 2K and MLB 2K were of course licensed games.
Just do it, 2K.Comment

Look up NFL 2K14 on Facebook. I can't post link because I don't have Facebook, so when I read the page the link is just Facebook.com.
Like I said, I doubt they are reliable, but I would love for them to be right that 2K is revealing a few new titles around E3.Texas A&M Aggies
Denver Broncos
Colorado Avalanche

Tried that. Nothing worth note came up. All I saw were fan pages...Last edited by Segagendude; 03-09-2014, 02:54 AM.Comment

Re: Sign If You Want A Highly Customizable 2K Next-Gen Game
Well that part is most likely to happen because it was said during the TakeTwo Investor conference call last month. They didn't say E3 specifically, but they did say that some new titles were in the works from 2K Sports and that they would be revealed at a later time. What those titles are is anyone's guess.Comment

Re: Sign If You Want A Highly Customizable 2K Next-Gen Game
If you want something official, 2K has stated they would not get back into football without the NFL license. As far as the title of this thread (customizable game), they have said 'no' (as of today). EA has stated they have the license for many years to come. The only question, and it has been posted repeatedly, is whether the license is exclusive or not.Comment

Re: Sign If You Want A Highly Customizable 2K Next-Gen Game
Can't really call it official unless it's in writing from 2K or there is at least a quote from someone who has had regular contact with them about this. I've heard people say what you've said a number of times, but I've not seen 2K state anything like that in writing anywhere. But it's not exactly hard to believe that they wouldn't do something with football since they haven't put anything out in 7 years.
But since it was said by them that they have new titles in the works from 2K Sports, I'd think they wouldn't go back to Hockey, Baseball or Boxing since all three developments were disastrous and some had sales as bad or worse than APF. Could Soccer be a possibility? I dunno. But if you're 2K Sports, and you're down to one annual, and you want to beef up your development roster, I don't see how you could go wrong with football, provided they don't make the same mistakes they did with APF.Comment

Signed.
If it contained a franchise mode, with all the bells and whistles, and was completely functional in terms of customization to the point where a community effort could be used to "recreate" all the stadiums, teams, uniforms, players and so forth - and had an easy share files system where all those edits could be easily distributed - I would pay just about whatever they wanted to charge for an alternative to Madden (which has become a nightmarish joke)!!!!Comment
