All that really needs to be done right now is either a blog, q & a, or an article of the developers simply stating the direction and goals of this game. They don't have to confirm anything just give some insight to what they hope to accomplish.

Wow, Kanobi... I feel like I haven't seen your user name pop up on here since the 2K5 days literally a decade ago. I just had a flashback... Not sure if you've been around and I just missed your posts or what, but cool to see you're still around.

I admittedly have no idea what to think about all of this, but it sounds pretty great. I don't follow these guys on Twitter, so when some of you mention facemasks not looking correct and such, I'm not sure of the images you speak of. Are there more photos? I saw images on YouTube videos that showed virtual heads of guys they are creating for the game.

I guess the only thing I can think of is that they're trying to be highly strategic in when they release information to the public. Perhaps that could be because they have or are trying to land something special--say a deal with FOX or whoever for presentation elements of even the player association for player likenesses, or maybe they just want a bigger stage like E3.

Dunno what to make of it, but it's fun to think about.

I do have a silly question, but I've been a console player all my life and only played games on the computer to play prince of persia and Oregon trail, but... Say this is a game for just the PC... How do you play it? Do they make special controllers for the PC?

And when you say PC, does that also include Mac computers?

I must admit it's better than nothing at all. Still though I would think they would got most of that stuff done by now however we don't know the release date.

Built my first pc about 4 months ago and love it. Not only do you get more access to games but you can also play games available on consoles with better looking graphics. I use a regular old wired Xbox 360 controller and it works fine with games like NBA 2k. I also know the Xbox one controller works.

You can use most modern console controllers on PCs. Xbox 360 controllers are super easy and a lot of games have configurations for them, including accurate icons, out of the box. I know there's a way to get ps4 and wiiu controllers to work as well, but I've never done it. Probably as simple as downloading drivers though.

Off Topic: I'd pay $60+ for a PC version of APF 2K8 without second thought. I don't know why that popped into my head but now I'm gonna be thinking about it all day...

Just fyi the DS4 is a plug and play controller for the pc as well...no drivers needed.

Not to say this game will even be on pc

OS X Yosemite also natively supports the Dual Shock 4 via BlueTooth, but if you say "OS X" and "video games" in the same sentence your audience generally laughs at you, so there is that.

The "Unreal" photo Joe Montana posted made me wish up something i doubt will happen but the are a remain hopeful.

Back in the day EAs NCAA required you to go create a team and play in high school before getting picked by a college team. 2k kind of tried this with basketball a few years back had like a D league.

Please don't get hopes up or anything this would just be a cool my player mode if it started you as an undrafted free agent and you started in like a semi pro league or something top that sort. Huge stretch I know but the my player mode is one of the coolest modes in any sports Sim imo. This would explain the lack of NFL teams in the photo... but this is only a wish and based off no factual evidence what so ever.

Kind of expecting a my player mode to accommodate a gimmick letting you play as Montana or a career like his.

Hey Pacman! Yeah man...I haven't posted much at all on OS for years. I think I've posted more within the last 3 or 4 weeks than I have in the last 3 or 4 years lol. That exclusivity deal killed it for me. My only football game purchases since then have been Madden 25 (at 50% off) and several copies of APF2k8 to replace a scratched or cracked disks. I've done some custom APF2k8 rosters but that's about the extent of my activity on OS in recent years.

Im excited about JMF16. I'm not frustrated by the lack of concrete info as some of the other posters are. But that's probably due to me having been around for such a long time. I'll simply wait and see. I think E3 will reveal all we want to know. Im anxious to see how the game moves and how the players interact.

So far, the screenshot, the mo-capping, and these images all have the same face mask design.

It looks really tight to the face. Seems like a lot of players would break their nose wearing this.

PC gaming is the best experience I just wish there were more sports games on the platform.

Also building a computer is not very hard and you can save a good bit of money versus buying a pre built from Bestbuy or somewhere like that.
