re: Backbreaker PC Editor 1.3 (6/13 Update)
Good day to you FlyingFinn I'm having some problems extracting the file and have made several attempts here doing so.
I'm getting a "Compressed (Zipped) Folder Error" message saying "The Compressed (Zipped) Folder is Invalid or Corrupted" I'm using an Extraction Wizard on my pc do you know what the problem might be here?
I assume this is for the XBOX360 is the file set up for this?
Thanks

re: Backbreaker PC Editor 1.3 (6/13 Update)
Could someone provide a link to a modio download. I've searched the web and found a download but that site wanted me to sign up to the website. A little new at this.
Thanks Finn!
For those who are having a problem extracting the file, I use Firefox and didn't have a problem unraring it.Last edited by opd897; 06-08-2010, 05:49 PM.Originally posted by ImTellinTimIf I lived in Waco, I would find you and kick you right in the nuts.Comment

re: Backbreaker PC Editor 1.3 (6/13 Update)
FYI
Catcatch22 here discovered a few days ago that the AGILITY rating is the rating that is causing all the INT's and sacks in the game. So to correct these issues we may want to try a global lowering of the Agility rating for DE's, DT's CB's and Safeties.
As soon as the issue with only loading 12 teams is fixed in the editor I'll try this global edit and report back.
If anyone else wants to try it out see how it works and if it really does fix the INT and sack issue by lowering the AGILITY rating on defense.Comment

re: Backbreaker PC Editor 1.3 (6/13 Update)
Does anyone know which save file we should be using in Finn's editor? I'm assuming it's the created teams file, which I copied to the PC via a 360 formatted USB key, but when I open up the key in Windows, I see an Xbox 360 folder and eight files -- Data0001 through Data0008.
I tried opening up each one in Finn's editor. Data0000 and Data0002 give me access violation errors (for Data0000, it's "Access violation at address 00691B1C in module 'Backbreaker.exe'. Read of address 6ADAB164." The other files give me "index out of bounds" errors.
I'm willing to spend quite a bit of time tweaking ratings to hopefully improve the game if I can just get the editor working. Thanks.Comment

re: Backbreaker PC Editor 1.3 (6/13 Update)
This tool looks awesome
I'm trying it out and for some reason it is not finding all the teams in a my team save file.
Here is a link below for 25 teams and rosters complete, but this editor only finds 12 teams and there players.
I can confirm that when you load this file on your 360 there are 25 teams with rosters but in your editor it only pulls up 12 teams and players.
Otherwise this editor is awesome and thanx for your work I have already contributed to your effort.

re: Backbreaker PC Editor 1.3 (6/13 Update)
One possible, although a workaround, solution to the 12 team issue could be to replace the first 12 teams in your my teams section with the others. Now for anyone that has created more than 24 teams this wont work because you have to copy the entire team to a slot other than the top 12 and then delete the original.
But I have noticed that teams are tied to the slot that you create them in. So if you create 4 teams and delete the first one the remaining three all stay in the slot they were originally created in and don't automatically move up to spots 1-3.
My guess is that version 1 of the editor is reading the first 12 teams and that is what you are seeing. Again time consuming and not exactly a great solution but it may jsut work to edit more than 12 teams.Comment

re: Backbreaker PC Editor 1.3 (6/13 Update)
For those having problems downloading the zip, try using FireFox instead of IE if possible. For some reason, zip files are corrupted when using IE. I posted a thread in Steve's forum about the issue and I am hoping for a response.Comment

Hmm still seeing a lot of INTS and sacks, only at half time. Might have to do some more tweaking.

Thanks, Finn, for the quick reply. I've actually got an Xport, but getting it to work in 64-bit Windows 7 has been a disaster. I'll keep trying--someone a couple of posts below made a suggestion that might work. Thanks.Comment
