No there isn't. The roster/team databases are completely different (for example: hidden potential ratings in College). In order to build an entire Dynasty Mode in this dev cycle, we had to have it structured this way.

The game doesn't have a 'changed are moved' period.

what about the tick marks along the hash marks? i see they're along the outside edge of the hashes. shouldn't they be along the inside? or is this a canadian thing?

i haven't bought the game, yet. i've been out of town all weekend so i'm not sure if the game is set up for both in that respect.

I'd rather it just keep running then. It makes the game too long. Not a fan of the way this is implemented at all.

also, what's everyone's thoughts on the control scheme? FlemLo Raps made some good points about making them very similar to the bigger games? was there a reason to make them completely different?

People would bug us for the clock not stopping on a first down.

The first reason is that those other game's control schemes would never work for all our rule sets. It's impossible to throw to the 6th receiver in Madden because they don't have 6 receiver sets. We do.

The second reason is that we're not making Madden. If anything our controls are close to 2K8 than anything else.

And even Madden changes there controls from year to year. Personally I find the controls for Madden infuriating. Just way too complicated to do even the simplest of things.

Did you guys take a look about the qb and rb running into each other on a handoff ? Also noticed that handoffs are 9/10 useless as the CPU spams the speed button everytime before the snap & completely bolts and lays out my Qb/Rb . Literally almost every time on hard difficulty. It’s like my blockers simply don’t react to the edge rusher & he lays me out every time . AND if I do manage to get it out before he comes , my qb & rb collide into each other . Pretty much the only run plays that work are runs up the gut . Can you guys take a look
Please ? As I love the running game on here , it shows the beauty of physics .... whenever I manage to successfully run that is . Haha , wish you guys the best & thanks for the update !

i'd challenge that by just adding an additional option for a 6th receiver. L1 or R1 (whichever isn't being used).

i get you guys aren't making Madden. but i'd also challenge choosing a game that's 11 years old to base the controls off of isn't a wise choice. Madden and NCAA controls have been engraved into all of our brains since the release of the PS3 and Xbox 360. The barebones controls for those games haven't changed except for maybe the introduction of the hit stick/juke stick. and the catch options in Madden mid-flight of the ball.

Sprint hasn't been X (PS) or A (XB) since the PS2/OG Xbox days. It's been R2/RT. Why change it? if i have to hold X or A to sprint while scrambling, moving sprint to R2/RT could open up a 6th receiver option for X or A.

To add, changing a player has always been B or Circle. If I wanted to go left or right, I'd hold the button and move the left stick left/right/up/down to get where I wanted. Not cycle through L1/LB or R1/RB.

again, if they were as infuriating as you say, they would've changed it by now. but they haven't. because no one is complaining about the controls in Madden. They're complaining about the gameplay.

I may be alone in my thinking on this so take it with a grain of salt.

Regarding controls, maybe they want to have their own separate identity. I think it's a great move.

I’d personally like an option to customize your own layout of controls. That way everybody wins. But maybe there just isn’t enough resources or time to patch something like that in. There’s only a full timer and two part timers on this game. Regardless, I’ll adapt. I really like it.

In college football, the clock is briefly stopped when a team earns a first down to allow the chain crew to reposition themselves. The NFL has no such stoppage. To stop the clock after a first down, then not restart it until the next snap of the ball -- that goes against US College rules and extends the game unfairly.

This becomes a factor late in game if I am leading in score and I just want to run out the clock. I found myself purposely avoiding a first down just to keep the clock running. You should fix this.

Maybe you can pause the stoppage of the clock for 5-8 seconds, then restart it.

Game is setup for multiple rule sets - so you'll see the different types of field depending on what the user has selected prior to the game.

Is there a way to have the clock at least start once you pick a play or have it start up when you first enter the screen to pick your play. At the end of the game if you are behind you really have no reason to hurry up and pick your play. For now I will play 5 minute quarters but it would be nice to see the game clock start running before you snap the next play. Same goes for when you are ahead and want to eat the clock up if you get a first down you cant take any time off the clock until you snap your next play.
