We're talking about grooming a young QB, Favre doesn't do that. If they learn anything, its from the coaching staff and observing Favre, not Favre taking time to explain it.

This could be true for New York but that situation doesn't apply to every scenario...

Brett Farve's favorite back up was Doug Pederson. Doug Pederson and Brett are still very close. Pederson went on to coach high school football where he coached JD Booty's brother. So naturually there is a connection there...

It would be stupid for the Vikings not to bring in Brett. Booty is not going to learn anything from TJ or that other guy nor have a chance to win a SB, but if Brett just came for one year it would open things open tremendously for Booty to learn and give him the skills to take over the team and be a Super Bowl Caliber Quarterback for the Vikings...

So, they all threw off their back foot?

Also, those qb's are the product of the system, not a product of Favre.

I am strickly refering to after A-Rod was drafted. When the other qbs were there it was a completely different era.

Brett has said in many interviews he is so much older than the other players he doesn't bond with them the way he used to. Rodgers has done many interviews where he comments on how helpful Brett has been in his development. Brett would answer his questions Brett wasn't there to teach Rodgers. Brett even said so himself.

I never said Rodgers didn't learn from him. I said it wasn't a mentoring relationship from Brett. Big difference. Rodgers learned a hell of a lot. Just watch him play. He reminds me of Brett at times. But he did his learning on his own. This has been documented many times in interviews by the both of them. As well as their body language on the sidelines.

Plus John David Booty currently has the jersey number "4" so I am sure they will have some kind of trade so that Farve can get 4 and Booty can learn from him....

What makes you think Chili is grooming Booty for the future anyway? Here in MN it seems clear Chili has tied his future to TJack.

Didn't you hear? He's going to groom Booty into the next Brady.

Since spite is Bretts main motivation to play, after he signs with the Vikes I think the Pack aught to give #4 to one of the backup punters.

Kool. Then they can turn that "shrine" of his in the locker room into a Port-a-Potty.
