Re: Super Bowl 44 - The Super, Way TOO-Early Prediction: Vikings/Patriots

Whats up with all you goofballs putting the Texans into the playoffs over the Titans? Give me a freaking break...the Titan's lost one player from their starting line up.

Yea, Haynesworth was important to our defense, but I think you can ask some of the many Steeler fans on here if they think we can still make the playoffs without Haynesworth and how good the Titans can be still without Haynesworth...they will have a much different take if they don't have short term memory loss...31-14...and that's all I'm saying.

The Titans have also greatly improved their offense with the Washington pick up and the Britt kid from Rutgers...I think we will be much better on offense, making up for being a little less dominant on defense, noticed I stress a LITTLE...we are still a top 10 defense even without Haynesworth at the worst.

I don't have a prediction except to say that if the Cards win their division again, I believe they will go to the SB again. Warner and Fitzgerald are almost unstoppable in the playoffs.

And the Chiefs could surprise some people. They have a ton of upside and if half of it delivers then they could surprise with 6 or 7 wins. It will have a lot to do with Cassel though

Lions are upgrading and are capable of 4 wins. Not exactly the best record but it might keep them from the first pick.

And your probably right about the Rams. They are also contention for the bottom pick
My fault. I didn't read your post thoroughly. Colt's in Texas, OU's archrival. Fail on my part. I think Cassel's a one year wonder and the Chiefs' best chance is with Thigpen. I like that kid.

Like I said, if the Raiders win five or more games, they're ought of contention for the first pick due to the Rams.

I second that. The Titans will keep beating-up on The Texans.

The Titans are overrated IMO. That is all.

I feel that a good (not amazing) defense and moderate offense can only take you so far...

Are they a bad team? Not at all.

In fact, I think Jeff Fisher is the most underrated coach of all time, and he does a great job with what he has.

With that said, I think the Texans have the chance to breakout finally, and show people what they are made of and if they dont and the Titans beat em out, I will not be shocked

Man, the Titans hate is incredible.

Mark me down as a non beleiver in the Texans, Redskins, and in the long run, the colts.

Titans lose haynesworth and people want to put them at 3rd in the AFC South? LOL

              No respect.

Mark me down right now, THE TITANS WILL WIN THE AFC CHAMPIONSHIP. GUARANTEED. WHAT WE DO TO THE STEELERS IN THE OPENING GAME WILL SET THE TABLE FOR THE SEASON. The only words to describe the feeling of teams facing the Titans after the dismantling of the Steelers is Fear, Intimidation, whatever word means they want to run in the opposite direction in the fastest way possible.

I don't think losing Albert Haynesworth qualifies for "addition by subtraction".

The Titans ran down our throats last season. But they also played us at the end of a tough 5 games against playoff contenders.

If your running game doesn't get going early, this game will be over by halftime.

There is ZERO chance of the Titans in the Superbowl.

There was ZERO chance the Steelers would be in the Super Bowl last year...but a funny thing happened. The Titans had two goofballs on their team fumble teh ball twice inside the 15 yard line, the refs blew a call late, and the Ravens dirty Defense took out Chris Johnson in the second quarter...and the Titans lost...opening the door for your mighty Steelers to play 3 of the easiest opponents in a Super Bowl Champions history. Congrats.

We beat the living crap out of you last year without Haynesworth and Vanden Bosch...no Titan fan is afraid of the mighty Steelers....you can hype the game up and cry about your terrible hankie all you want the week leading up to the season opener, but to say the game will be over by halftime is just plain dumb...unless the Titans are the one's blowing the Steelers out because you sure as heck can't blow us out.

We humiliated your pitiful secondary last year and will do so again this year with the additions of Britt and Washington to the starting line up. So if you expect the Titans to bow down to your pitiful Steelers, get over it dude.

Teams with mediocre QBs don't lose their DC and best defensive player and continue to run smoothly.

So you think a rookie WR (rookie WRs RARELY do well) and a former Steeler WR (who was a one year overacheiver and wont amount to anything more than a solid #3) will win the game for the Titans?

                            lol

Oh, and, if I recall, one of those "easy" teams the Steelers beat on the way to the Superbowl Championship was the Baltimore Ravens, a team the Titans fell to the week prior. And you can't just throw out fumbles and injuries... lol... they're part of the game, big guy.

It's awfully easy to talk crap when your team never even got a shot.

blah, blah, blah. It's hilarious hearing fans of teams throwing shots and excuses out after losing the SB... even funnier when it's about games that weren't even division championships. Enjoy those sour grapes. Don't worry, you'll have more to munch on after this year.

BTW, the Steelers were among the top teams going into last season. I'm a Ravens fan and you can do a search and find that I had them as a likely SB team before the season started.

When Renegade started popping off at the mouth. Funny thing is, Renegade does classic trash talk while these other ones seem to really believe all the extra crap they put into it. Here's a tip, six... if the Lions have no injuries and no turnovers on the year they'll probably surprise everyone and make it to the SB. But I guess for the Titans we should only expect these to happen at times that don't inconvenience them.
