So what so you think about illegal gambling....

Which he was in jail for...

A lot of people will not be happy unless they see Vick totally broken down and treated like **** for the rest of his life. It's sad really.

You are probably right. But let's not make Vick out as the victim here. He has no one to blame but himself for the public's opinion of him.

What he did was wrong, he knew it was wrong and he did it anyway. While I agree he deserves a second chance and he served his time, I shed no tears for him because people want to see him fail. That's on him, he made his bed, he still has to lie in it.

To be honest, I don't feel he was that contrite in the first place, and I don't feel he's the least bit sorry for what he did, but maybe it's just me. But he paid his price to society, time for him to prove people wrong, if he's truly changed.

Tony Dungy is a class act. I don't think he'd ever allow himself to be "used" for PR purposes.

lol at people like "majoniak". Sorry guy but you were not there so there is no way you can tell what he did. Believing everything you read is a dangerous lifestyle. I personally dont believe Vick was as involved as people like to think. There were a plethora of people involved in this case. Vick was the biggest so the Feds went after him. He is a dumb a** for even participating even a little in this stupidity. Common people have a very bad distaste for those who are privileged, famous and rich. I'm so sick of people saying they get away with everything because they have money or because they can run fast, jump and throw. It's like the jealous sibling syndrome. People want to see famous people fail. Aka TMZ I bet it pisses "them" and majoniak off that Vick will make more money in the next few years than they will ever. Then he wishes harm on him like many other Vick haters. I bet the majority of them turn around and call themselves Christians, who have done waaay worse things in history than Vick. Hell not more than 50-60 years ago Christians were hanging people and burning crosses. Its a crazy world.

Oh and dont even let me start on PETA every time we hear about peta they are either throwing blood or breaking sh*t. There are American children suffering...suffering, beaten, molested, and starved in this country and they are worried about some damn animals. Its simply sickening

You Sir are the man!! Your post sums up everything i feel about the hate towards Vick. Im sending you a friend request asap.

And to the Vick haters, Yeah lets foucs on Vick, and protest him while there are children starving and suffering and for the record, a humans life is and always will be more valuable than a animals life. Why is hunting legal? Because the Government gets paid taxes off of the fees associated with hunting. What about horse racing? You know the "sport" where if the horse gets hurt(Not valuable anymore) they are put down? Where the outcry and protest for those other animals whom dont have voices?

Its like people like to pick and choose whats right and whats wrong based on how they live their life. A few post ago someone said "If you arent a Vegetarian you are a murderer." He is right. Why is there no protest at all of the steak houses? Vick is a monster, yet we all eat steak and wear tennis shoes.

I dont agree with the actions Vick participated in. FYI, he wasnt the only one involved, he just took all the blame because of his fame. He went to jail and served his time, something alot of people dont do.

People jsut like to beat a dead horse...no pun intented

                    Exactly.....

                    Hypocrites irks my soul....

Im no vegan, I eat meat but at the same time im not attackng Vick for dog fighting and harming animals...Would I do it??? No I wont but who am I to judge and say wats right and wrong....

Half of the people who complain(not including PETA) support animal abuse with their everyday life....yet attack Vick because he hurt a species they love....

If you are going to support animals then support ANIMALS

BTW, we dont need meat or anything that have to do with harming animals to survive....Man, I hate that agruement....

                      This is all about FORGIVENESS.

It is a must. Everyone must be forgiven. To not forgive is to make your life and the other person's forfeit.

that being said, those of you who think that what michael vick did was just something small, or even moderately equivalent to hunting, or at all analogous to eating meat are ****ing ******** and need to do some exercises in critical thinking.

it is like arguing that shooting a robber in self-defense is analogous to torture.

please. what he did was monstrous. but he deserves forgiveness; without it, he can never learn or live.

I'm looking forward to seeing him back on the field and that IMO is the difference, he made a mistake at the pinnacle of his career, he has served his time via suspension and now he has the opportunity to erase at least some of that with his play on the field.
                        Action speaks louder than words.

And all of that is irrelevant. While all of what you said could be argued, not one thing there makes what he did acceptable or makes what he did any less despicable.

If I kick the crap out of you on the street, is it ok for me to do, because somewhere else someone is killing another person? Because there are other crimes out there, it doesn't make your crime any better or less serious.

While I agree, Vick has paid his debt and if a team like Philly wants to give him a second chance then he should be given a chance, Michael Vick is not the victim in this whole ordeal. He brought this on himself. Now it's up to him to make the most of his second chance.

I have always gone on the evidence, and the fact he admitted what he did in federal court under oath as part of his plea agreement. Based on those factors he was quite involved in it.
