    What do you think?
Well, if I'm reading the story YOU posted correctly, she never knew the dog was in the car. The husband put there for whatever reason and forgot to tell her.

It's a guessing game why, and the story doesn't mention why because I'm pretty sure the family is quite distraught over what happened to their beloved do so in the scheme of things that detail isn't very important.

It was terrible terrible accident and I am heartsick for them.

And as for your last paragraph, I completely disagree.

I will say though, certainly being a pet owner brings responsibilities with it, and this is clearly a responsibility broken. But again, I am left to assume it was a terrible accident.

If she was known to treat her dog terribly, I might be inclined to agree with you, but given her position, again, I am going to assume that isn't the case.

    Edit:

After reading another story on this, she often times took the dog to work with her, but if she didn't know it was in her vehicle, how would she know to take it in?

It is ironic, but not newsworthy at all.

Comparing someone who knowingly electrocuted dogs, shot dogs, and drowned dogs, to a lady who truly loved animals who didn't even know the dog was in the car is pure lunacy. One was a heinous crime, the other was a terrible accident. If anyone would even begin to suggest that this was some sort of karma, I just feel pity for that person(s).

Man, McNabb a little girl cutting Vicks time. Dude haven't played in 2 years let that man get some time.

Know McNabb didn't like "We Want Vick" chants the crowd was giving them.

                  So it begins.

Donovan McNabb admitted that the use of Michael Vick Thursday night upset the offense's rhythm.

Uh-oh. McNabb didn't sound thrilled about Vick shuffling in and out on the first few drives. Andy Reid said the guys need to " made that part of the rhythm." Are we still convinced that McNabb was the one that pushed Reid and Eagles to bring in Vick?

You could see McNabb give the "cut it" sign towards Morningweg and he looked disgusted.

To McNabb's defense, the rhythm of the offense was indeed killed with the plays for Vick. BUT I also say "why not" since with McNabb in there all preseason, the offense has been stagnant anyway.

McNabb can't even get them scoring in the preseason? Geez. He better get his *** in gear...because the "no weapons" excuse doesn't exist anymore.

Vick looked a little heavy and slow, but that's to be expected.

I believe in redemption, and want Vick to succeed. My only concern long term, is that he will have to re-invent himself into someone who can pass the ball efficiently from the pocket.

All mobile QB's have had to make that transition. I just do not know if he can do that.

As far as McNabb goes, Ive always called him the Patrick Ewing of the NFL. A flawed, HOF caliber player, who is never fully appreciated by his own fans.

When he is gone though, those fans will wish for those years back again, in a heartbeat.

McNabb has said over and over he asked to bring Vick in and wants to be behind him getting his life back. I think he just wanted to get something going on offense before they started going with the back ups. The Eagles O hasn't done much so far this preseason, and the 3rd game is the most important. I honestly don't think McNabb would've openly told the press, "Yes, I did it." if he really had a problem with Vick being in there. He just wanted to get the regular O a good drive to get ready for week 1.

Time will tell though. If he has a problem we will definitely know soon.

                                True. He's had weapons.

Donovan also "wanted" T.O., or pretended to. I don't think he could consistently hang on T.O.'s level, and developed some jealousy. Although Mike isn't as loud or pretentious as T.O., I can see the same thing happening with this situation-especially if Vick plays good early, and if Donovan keeps getting asked questions about Vick. Am I the only one who cringes when he's asked about Vick constantly?
Furthermore, he (McNabb) doesn't strike me as a player who likes to share the limelight, especially not on offense.
BTW, wasn't Vick better than McNabb just a few years ago?
I'm ecstatic to see him back in uniform, doing his thing! At the same time, it actually pains me to see him as a backup.....behind....McNabb-ew. I mean, I like Donovan, and he's a good QB, no doubt. But, I like Vick better.
And with that said, I simply cannot allow Vick to backup McNabb....on Madden 10. I have to bump up a few of his ratings, and maybe pair him with Steve Smith, or.....Tampa Bay, perhaps.

And while I'm at it, I think I'll permanently retire Farve.

                                Go get em, Mike!
