I'm a small Texans fan but they wont make the playoffs this year. They need an actuall RB. It would have been great if the Texans could have gotten Willis McGahee in the 2nd round.

Re: this just in!!!!!!!!!!!! the houston texans
I have to agree that the Texans will make the playoffs and here is why
1. The Texans might have had the best defense in the NFL if the offense could have stayed on the field longer. With an improved offense the defense will not have to work so hard.
2. Johnson will be rookie of the year because of Gaffney and Bradford. Gaffney is coming in to camp with more weight and could catch 70+ pass and Bradford will take his role as the 3rd receiver a roll he was best at in Green Bay. Bradford was double covered constantly look for him to get single covered and catch a lot of long TD passes.
3. The Rb position for the Texans is the deepest on the team. Wells comes in the best shape of his short career, then Mack who some called the jaguars best rb, Allen who is a very good 3rd down back, and Tony Hollings who is a poor mans McGhee.
4. Everyone is talking about the offense line but people do not realize that the line will be much improved just by default because the OL know each other much better and the rookies on the line are no longer rookies.
5. Look for the Texans this year to be a team that is very similar to the Tampa bay bucs and Baltimore Ravens. The Texans will be very defensive orientated team with an offense that is focused on eating clock. With Eric brown as the kicker look for the Texans to win a lot of games with the scores of 16-10 or 21-16.

Even in single coverage, you can't score long TDs when your QB doesn't get enough time to throw the ball long.

Comparing to the Ravens and Buccs is like comparing a Kia to BMW. The personel isn't nearly as good, and the Bucc's and Raven's offense is a lot better as well.
And one quick question... what are the significances of these scores "16-10 or 21-16"? Why not add 10-7, or 13-10. Seriously, I'm pretty sure your not going to be able to predict the scores of the games man.
As for the bet with the 49ers fans. What happens if/when the 49ers don't make the playoffs?
