Re: 2010 NFL Draft Thread
Dez had a 'decent' workout today in Lufkin. Mayock says he wouldn't be surprised if Dez dropped down to 25, but still wouldn't be surprised if he was gone by 10.
More red flags came up today as he didn't finish all of his drills (they don't know if it's conditioning or mental), and ran a slower 40 than expected.Rice Owls - Houston Astros/Dynamo/Rockets/Texans - Arsenal - PSGComment

Re: 2010 NFL Draft Thread
Sports station here in NE Oklahoma were saying he was dumb enough to forget his cleats for this workout. Either ran in a brand new pair of tennis shoes or cleats and had trouble with slipping on his 40 (reported 4.52) and the other drills such as the pro agility and 3-cone so he didn't finish them.Comment

Re: 2010 NFL Draft Thread
Yeah, he was slipping while running his routes, too. I guess he found some cleats, because he was wearing those yellow soccer/track cleats when he ran his 40.
Regardless, homie didn't have his head right for easily the biggest day of his young life.Rice Owls - Houston Astros/Dynamo/Rockets/Texans - Arsenal - PSGComment

The latest NFL news, live scores, video highlights, schedules, standings and stats. Sporting News goes Beyond the Score to bring you in-depth analysis on the National Football League.
"More concerning is the fact Bryant seemed unprepared to properly run the short shuttle, long shuttle and 3-cone drills. He had to re-run several of the drills and never once ran hard to the finish, frustrating all in attendance. His hip movements looked tight, and he struggled to change directions quickly. He also quit the 225-pound bench press after 14 reps, even though he obviously could've done more."
I think he could easily turn into the Jamarcus of WR's. Maybe the Raiders will draft him and they can be buddies.Comment

Re: 2010 NFL Draft Thread
They have a ton of other needs and all these mocks that have them taking Bryant have me scratching my head.
But above all else, with Marshall still on the team, why would they spend their first on a WR when that is the least of their concerns????Comment

Apparently, he is one in few quarterbacks to have thrown well in the combine. After watching this quick combine highlight video of him and comparing him to other QBs who threw in the combine, he seems to have a naturally strong arm and kind of reminds me of Joe Flacco (could be just the height).

Just curious as to why you think the receivers they have sans Marshal aren't quality? I don't agree with this assessment at all...

Dont forget that they have Eddie Royal also at wide out....he's pretty underrated!!!! i think Brandon Stokley is still there too.Solid number 3 receiver

They also have Jabar Gaffney and Brandon Lloyd who looked pretty good at the end of the year when Marshall was benched...Comment
