Re: 2010 NFL Draft Thread
I could see the Redskins drafting Eric Berry with the #4 pick. As for as the offensive tackle situation, I think they would want to ship Albert Haynesworth, Rocky McIntosh, or LaRon Landry for a early- to mid-round draft pick and then use that pick on one. It'll be tough for that club to find a taker for those guys though.

Re: 2010 NFL Draft Thread
Eric Berry will be a safety in the NFL. Since it has become a pass-happy league now, it has become a necessity for safeties to possess CB-like cover skills anyway. The traditional big in-the-box, hard-hitting safeties that lack cover skills are getting phased out.

Re: 2010 NFL Draft Thread
Well it's possible for the Redskins to play both of these guys together. But there had been rumors about the Skins shopping Landry prior to coaching changes, and I'm not sure this line of thinking has changed with Coach Mike Shanahan and General Manager Bruce Allen now in charge. Plus -- assuming that the club does draft Berry at 4 -- I think the Skins would want a complementary safety to Berry who is more of a ball hawk so to allow the club to be more flexible in what type of coverages they wish to run.
