Re: 2010 NFL Draft Thread
The guy must have some major inferiority issues... I know I probably would. Kinda like the 3rd Manning brother. haha

I love the pick of Dez Bryant. Wow we were fortunate. After watching this kid dominate the Big 12, I am very excited. I wonder if Wade is thinking about Cody and moving ratliff to DE, wow!!The Sports Preacher

Re: 2010 NFL Draft Thread
i think the Bucs made a great decision with McCoy, great penetrating Sapp-like DT, totally fits the system
im hoping they go d-line one more time (like E.Griffen or C.Dunlap)
then take a WR like LaFell or Gilyard (assuming Tate, Benn, and D.Williams are gone by the 3rd rd.)GO HEAT

Re: 2010 NFL Draft Thread
Yeah, it actually comes out to being exactly the same on the "draft value" chart.
I wasn't referring to them. Remember that I live in Maryland and interact with real life Ravens fans, as well as those on Maryland message boards. They seem to think that they just ripped off the Broncos, though they also don't seem to know that they swapped fourth round picks instead of 3 picks for the first rounder.
They didn't give up that much avrbas. Here's the whole breakdown http://www.nfl.com/draft/story?id=09...s&confirm=true :
Broncos give 2nd round pick (#43), 3rd round pick (#70) and 4th round pick (#114)
Ravens give 1st round pick (#25), 4th round pick (#119)
The Broncos gave up a 3rd round pick and 5 spots in the 4th to move from the 2nd round into the 1st.
In addition Thomas' injury kept him out of a lot of tryouts if I'm not mistaken. And GT's run heavy offense kept his potential numbers down but he'd gotten favorable comparisons to former GT WR, Calvin Johnson. I think all things created equal, the two WRs are pretty close but time will tell.Comment

Re: 2010 NFL Draft Thread
I am still hoping that the Browns are not stupid enough to take a QB with all this talent on the board.
That would be a move that every past regime in Cleveland would have done...so don't screw it up H/H.Too Old To Game Club

Either way, my response was to the thought that the Broncos gave up so much to get Tebow. They really didn't. They gave up a 3rd round pick pretty much.Comment

Re: 2010 NFL Draft Thread
Time will tell. It's possible that they were set on taking a QB in this draft (considering the other QBs on the Broncos, that wouldn't be a stretch) and didn't like any of the others so the plan was to wait as long as possible to get Tebow. They still have plenty of picks to fill other needs and there's plenty of talent out there.

I hope I'm wrong, I have no problem with it. I didn't agree with the Moreno pick last year.Aaron
