great you won 4 rings, last of which was when I was 11. I am now 39 years old.

Congrats on those titles 30 and 40 years ago, they really should help this team win games this year.

It's that kind of thinking as to why the Raiders have been irrelevant for the better part of a decade. Their owner and FO believes it's still 1974.

And no Miller does not catch the ball as well as Gates, he's not as good after the catch, and I'd like to know how you came to the conclusion he blocks better, because I am pretty sure you don't have the endzone coaching tapes which you would need to really make that evaluation. Not to mention a real understanding of that position and how it factors in to each offensive scheme. Which I am sure you don't.

Since when did Oakland have 4 Rings? I thought we had 3 super bowls under our belt. I have also learned that those don't mean jack squat in this time, until we win another one, we should be the last team talking smack. I am not trying to go against our own fans but you can't use those facts nowadays.

Your totally right ... Got alittle ahead of myself with the four (I must have counted the AFL chip) sorry guys. But once we begin to dominate the AFC west again all this talk will mean nothing. Til then you charger fans enjoy your time in the spotlite.

For those that don't remember what I said the contrast was between Oakland and the Chiefs not Gates......Oakland 4 rings, Denver 2, Chagers 0, chiefs 0, in the end thats what counts ,so we will see this season

My bad, Raiders lost Super Bowl II. They have 3 rings. LOL! Oops. Hehehe. The one against the Eagles was their 2nd Super Bowl Championship.

Raiders have talent. But they dont have a real coach or any real leaders in the locker room..and Al Davis is still Al Davis. I'm a die hard Raiders fan but unless you get a Bill Cowher type in there, it will be 8-8 at best for a while.

Dude, I'm as big a Raiders fan as you'll find, but this living in the past as if it means anything is only going to get you mocked. 8-8 would be a great season in Oakland, and a real step forward. San Diego is still the best team in the division, they have the best QB, and a very good defense. If Oakland finishes second, and is 7-9/8-8, that's a very solid result.

LOL! You must have missed my correction as well. I hope the Raiders do well this year. My favorite CB has always been Lester Hayes and the Raiders are one of the teams I root for when they aren't playing the Steelers. Hey, they have to get better. Fu**ing Russell is gone. Thank goodness. He was horrible.

They aren't that good of a football team if one guy going down takes them out.

I wasn't referring to just our team, I was referring to the rest of the AFC West stinking it up and choking year in year out also but honestly at this point I'd be happy if SOMEONE in the AFC West would bring our division back to the SB.
