I'll stick with what I originally posted, Rivers. Vick is nice, don't get me wrong.

The OP's question is "Rivers or Vick: Who is Playing at a Higher Level?"

The answer to that is Rivers (with the obvious exception being that Maddenesque performance Vick had during prime time against the Skins).

I don't really want to pick, but wanted to say media comments like "he's human after all" regarding vick are strange.

In the bears game he had like 300 passing yards, 60 rushing 2 td's and 1 int.

if he did that all year it would be a pretty insane year stats wise in a good way for vick. If "holding" him to those numbers is some kind of acheivement, that speaks volumes about his play this season.

I'm not gonna say who I think is playing at a higher level right now because I honestly can't decide, but I mean, Vick's what? 6-1 as a starter this year and he's been putting up numbers like that pretty much every game?

He really hasn't. If we're going only on stats Rivers has been equally as staggering.

              Let's put it like this...

Your Team is down by 6. You have time for one drive, maybe two. Your running game, for whatever reason, is ineffective. Who do you want leading this drive? Vick or Rivers?

              Tough call...

                    I second this.

In last second drives, Matt Ryan is a beast. If there is a minute left in the game, I am fully confident in Matt Ryan to get us into field goal range
I doubted you Roy Williams since you only won with a someone else's team... Now you have proven me wrong.

                    You have earned my respect.

no they are not - my point was that media outlets were talking about vick's last performance as if it was sub-par when it was actually quite a quality outing by any standards.

I think it was the pick and the fumbles they were talking about. Not to mention no matter what the stat sheet says I dont think he played particularly well, especially compared to some of his previous games. He left some big plays on the field. It happens to all qb's, no doubt. Its tough to argue, IMO that this was one of his better outings this year despite the fact the box score reads 333 yards passing and 49 yards rushing.

I kind of laughed at this one too. He finally threw an interception and I think he had 4 fumbles, even though he recovered them all. This definitely wasn't a game he should get praised for but it's funny seeing it talked about like it was a "bad" game.

But he missed some open throws, including a couple of sure TD's...he did not play well even with his final numbers. In this case his numbers were pretty hollow imo.

I don't see how guys can look at his numbers an say he didn't play well. Heck he made a throw between what 3-4 guys for a TD. He played well enough to win. If he connected on some of his throws he may have had another Monday night performance.

Yea, it was the Eagles D that didn't play well enough to win, not Vick. I think people are expecting Superman every game and that obviously won't happen
