In a sport where your entire season comes down to a single game, it remains an utter travesty that Seattle got to play this game at home.
Seattle got a unique opportunity winning their division at 7-9. Normally the record wouldn't cut it, but this year it did and they took advantage of it

A team can't be punished for winning their division. Congrats to the Seahawks and the 12th Man

Better luck next year Saints they gave the fans one of the best playoff games in recent history

Sooo I wasn't able to watch the game. Can I get a run down of how an why the Saints loss? I picked them to lose but I still think they are the better team. People underestimate how much better the Seahawks play at home then on the road.

Apart from the first drive, Their Defense completely collapsed, and allowed Matt Hasselbeck to play like Joe Montana in his glory days, lighting them up for 4 Touchdowns. Roman Harper was victimized I think on 3 of them.

Also the Saints could not run the ball which led to the Seahawks keying in on pass rushing, and pressuring Brees. Which coupled with the crowd noise stalled the Saints on enough drives to win the game. Oh and also Marshawn Lynch beasted for a huge run to seal the game.

In other words, if the Saints would've won their division, they wouldn't be where they are right now, which is on the plane back to New Orleans for who knows how long depending on how soon they get a new CBA done.
                      Exactly.

Take care of your own business in your own division, don't whine because other divisions are pathetic.

                        Ah poor Tracy lol

I hope nothing changes. If you want to host a playoff game then win your division. Its as simple as that an should stay like that.

Tracy did get embarassed but so did the other 7 players who touched him, worst display of tackling ever. Great amazing run, but to me the play is more about the poor tackling then anything.

Saints have a fun offseason ahead of them regarding their Running back situation, I'm personally a fan of drafting Mark Ingram would be nice to have a reliable running back who can handle 20-30 carrys a game if needed. But I think there are obviously bigger needs at OLB and D-line.

Give the Seahawks credit for the win. They were more focused and came to play and if they can play like they played most of the game they can beat anyone. Hassleback had a great game with four touchdown passes and only one interception. Can he repeat this performance next week? I think not because of his success was horrible performance of the saints defensive backs. They blew a lot of coverages in this game. If the Seahawks give up 36 points against the next opponent they will lose. Bet on it.

Win or lose football games whether playoffs or regular season games does not matter in the end anyway. Over half the NFL players will probably develop encephalopathy or ALS which are 100 percent terminal and 100 percent fatal. There is no cure and the first symptom is a headache that last all the time or almost all the time progressing over time to full blown dementia and death! All the padding and protection does NOT protect the fragile brain at all!

The Seahawks win this one, but there is a HUGE price to pay not that much later in life for playing American football especially NFL football!
