You know you have a good home-field advantage when your crowd can start earthquakes.

Which is apparently what Seattle's '12th Man' is capable of.

It is indeed one of the louder stadiums I've heard in the NFL to go along with the Superdome and a few other places. Nothing for me can 1 up how loud it got in Death Valley in '07 when they announced that Stanford beat USC
Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, Lightning

        Pretty cool stuff right there.

Last week, before the Bills traded running back Marshawn Lynch, we suggested that they should hold an auction for his services and then trade him to the highest bidder.

Per Jay Glazer of FOX, multiple teams said that they would have been interested in Lynch — and would have given up more than the Seahawks gave up for Lynch — if the Bills had called. But they didn’t call.

Jay Glazer of FOX reports that the Saints had told the Bills that they were interested in trading for Lynch, a first-round pick in 2007. But the Bills didn’t shop Lynch, as Glazer had first reported back in October.
Glazer now reports that the Saints would have given the Bills a third-round pick, more than the Seahawks ultimately surrendered.

That's the second time an earthquake has been recorded under Qwest. The other was a 3.3 earthquake in the 2005 NFC championship game, where Qwest was measured at 137db. At the time it was the loudest recorded stadium in North America...don't know if anything has beaten it since.

Btw...the run is getting labeled with a name of BeastQuake. Lol

That's interesting. I'd be interested to see what "Jump Around" at Camp Randall does.

Doesn't that give the state of Washington the record for both college and Pro football? UW has the college record for a game against Nebraska in the 90's I think.

I think that also makes Death Valley and Qwest Field the only stadiums to have an earthquake recorded by the fans as well. Don't know for sure though.

I was at this game. "Loud" is an understatement!
