For what it's worth, a "close Manning source" reported to Clay Travis http://twitter.com/#!/claytravisbgid about 4 hours that he thought the Titans were the leader and could sign him within the next 24 hours. Seemed like just more twitter speculation, when I saw it, but now with the team physicians showing up, it seems like something more than a courtesy visit.

May not amount to anything at the end of the day, but I don't remember hearing about team doctors in any of the other visits.

Von Miller is having a dream. Said he would take a pay cut for Broncos to sign Manning and Mario Williams.

Saw that, cracked me up. I wonder if Xanders sees that.

I think you are still not giving enough credit to the Tennessee offense, but I am biased.

As for the team physicians, and Peyton showing up in Vol Orange, it's hard for me to contain my excitement.

Even if he is 36, he is still the greatest QB to ever play and I think still has a couple of elite level years left.

The market for top tier weapons is drying up by the hour, and Miami plays in the least winnable division out of Denver, Arizona and Tennessee.
Miami has the best defense out of all the realistic options out there. Even if not by the widest of margins. The one-two punch Bush and Thomas bring is something Manning has never had in his career and is the strongest backfield out of the bunch. Manning's numbers playing outdoors have always taken a hit throughout his career. The warm Miami weather could help the transition to playing outside a bit easier.

I'm not saying he can't win in Denver, Arizona or Tennessee. I just feel Miami gives him the best chance to go deep into the playoffs.

Yup, that attitude is the type you want to build a team around. Good for Von.

Heh, he'd need some teammates to do the same for it to be meaningful, doesn't mean a whole lot with the rookie wage scale contracts

Von Miller watching these huge numbers flying around knowing he's going to get a contract like that the year after the new TV money hits the cap.

That's bad ***. I mean he's obviously joking about playing for free but still so cool to see. Nice to know that someone realizes that it's worth taking less money if you want to win.

Im going to say Denver just for the simple fact thay have $43 mill in salary cap space. The Broncos can give Manning what ever he wants such as signing free agents, Reggie Wayne, Jeff Saturday and Dallas Clark, lastly not to leave out his own personal asking price. This is crazy and i feel for Tebow, but come on its Peyton...

You're so focused on promoting your YouTube videos you missed that Wayne re-signed with the Colts.

NFL Network is breaking how Peyton has been meeting with the Titans for over 6 hours...could it be?

6 hours? Jesus...I have a feeling I may have been wrong, and that Tennessee is closing in on signing Manning.

Every other team spent 6-7 hours with Manning. He stayed in Denver for 2 days, didn't leave for Arizona until 4 or 5 local time.
