Colorado is a great place to live. I'll give him that.

Re: The Peyton Manning Discussion thread
Alot of people who have not been to Colorado make the winters out to be something that you would see in Antarctica. Denver Post posted an article that the average temperature for games here in the winter hover around 40.

Yeah, Peyton Manning wants an entourage.
Edit: This past week, we had beautiful 70 degree days. Today is another solid day.Comment

Re: The Peyton Manning Discussion thread
They don't play football in mid-March.
As for the money portion, I do re-call him saying he would play for an incentive laden-contract.
I don't know the details yet, but I think $$$ had more of a factor than people think.
That said, good luck next couple years with Manning.
SpoilerAnd yes, I am jealous and mad he didn't come to Nashville!!!EXPERIENCE MAYHEM FOOTBALLComment

Re: The Peyton Manning Discussion thread
Now that Manning is in Denver I hope the same folk who kept posting about how its a team game and we gotta credit the kicker and all these other people dont now proclaim Manning the next Elway the first time he has a clutch 4th quarter. Consistent hate is all I ask from the good people of OS.Comment

The Seahawks were so serious about landing Manning, team officials flew to Denver when he was there and hoped to get some time with him...Aaron

It was like that here in Michigan too bro. The entire country is experiencing a heat wave.
I was in Denver all last week. I know it can be nice, but I was downtown and there were tons of homeless dudes and hippies begging. Perhaps it was just the warm weather. Lots more 'industrial' areas than I was expecting too, but everybody loves to talk up where they live.Proud member of the OS Bills Backers.

The hell does that have to do with the weather? Every city has that.It was like that here in Michigan too bro. The entire country is experiencing a heat wave.

I grew up in San Diego, CA. I expected Colorado to be brutal winters only to find out that wasnt the case at all. I consider San Diego my home still yet I'm not going to try and trash CO for its weather which is hell of a lot better than people want to think.Aaron

Re: The Peyton Manning Discussion thread
This is true for any NFL player. It has been reported that Manning is at no greater risk to injure his neck again than any other player as the injury has completely healed. Also, John Lynch said he suffered a very similar neck injury and he continued to play at a high level with Denver for several years.Comment

Average temp for Broncos on game day for the season is 60's. Rarely snows here, we just get massively dumped on two or three times, then it melts the next day. Weather is not a problem here.It was like that here in Michigan too bro. The entire country is experiencing a heat wave.
