    Wow Peyton took the money...

Wow the 49ers just went from Potential 3 year Dynasty over the entire NFL, to 3 year Bully on the Block of the NFC West. What a tease those fans must have gone through the past few days..

I still thnk Tebow/Manning on the same team = Domination. I kid.. I kid... but could you imagine Manning between the 20s, and Tebow inside the red zone? It be like giving the 1956 Browns Power I offense, then adding Joe Montana and still keeping Jim Brown for redzone touches lol

      Hahahahaha.

He ain't going to Miami, was just preparing for worst case. This is like if Derek Fisher got mad at the Lakers for going after Chris Paul.

      But you never know.

At first I was a little disappointed that Peyton was heading to Denver. But then I remembered how they are roughly $38 million under the cap, so knowing if you're signing a guy like Peyton Manning, you're trying to win now. So hopefully I can expect to see some huge acquisitions from the Broncos.

If I were the Broncos, I would go big. Sign Michael Bush, give away your 25th pick for Mike Wallace, and grab a familiar friend of Peyton by signing Dallas Clark or maybe Jacob Tamme.

Manning does just fine on his own inside the redzone....

Sorry if this seems harsh but...

Seems to me that in the end Peyton really cared about the money the most. I don't think Peyton makes Denver the favorite in the AFC, but I'll wait to see what the rest of their offseason holds.

Good luck Peyton, I'm not a Bronco's fan but I hope he does well there.

Interesting to hear that Miami wasn't even a finalist.

So what's next for Tebow? To Jacksonville?

I can definitely see this motivating him even further, seeing they basically just told him that all that you did last year for us means nothing.

I understand the concept of improving your team and getting one of the best QBs ever, but damn, that's rough.

Na, don't think SF fans ever felt they were in the deep of the Manning sweepstakes. I sure didn't. Things that make too much sense tend to not happen. I'm just glad the FO went after Moss and Manningham in the process.

I mean, yeah I thought about it briefly, but I never picture it happening. Not with the way teams were rolling out the red carpet for Peyton. Glad SF didn't go overboard though in their pursuit. If he wanted to win, there wasn't a better place than SF to sign. That's all I need to know about Manning (similar to Dwight not considering going to Chicago).

Dominate NFC West with Gore, Davis, Manningham, Moss, Crabtree, and a great D? Nah.

With the pieces the Chiefs have added the past week, those games could be pretty interesting over the next few years.

Why do we have to have a pity party for Tebow? This isn't the first or last time this will happen to a mediocre at best quarterback. I didn't see everyone crying for Rex Grossman when the Bears didn't sign him after he led them to a Super Bowl.

Tennessee reporters that were claiming it a done deal week ago and even put out a article that the Broncos weren't in it anymore. Now they're trying to wipe egg off their faces and take potshots at Denver. So glad he didnt go to the Titans, never have seen so many asshat reporters covering a single team

                        Spoiler

Trading Tebow isn't a guarantee, he's not that expensive for this year.

                          Tebow's remaining contract:

                          2012: $1.1m / $1.5m bonus
                          2013: $1.0m / $1.5m bonus
                          2014: $670k / $3.0m bonus

Tebow's value is probably much higher in a trade than in free agency. If he's signed out of FA he'd make much more money to start for a team, he probably would make more just to come in and compete/backup than the above contract, which is the final 3 years of a 5yr $11.25m deal.

I can see Tebow being traded to another team, especially in the Florida area. If you're an owner and you want to see increased ticket sales, Tebow can be your guy for that. Everyone loves that Tebow magic. Only Aaron Rodgers have sold more jerseys than him.

And his contract is not that high. He was not a top ten pick. With the remainder of his contract, he makes less than $2 million per season.

Trade Tebow while he's still valuable. Draft a kid or let Adam Weber soak up everything. Sign a vet for insurance.
