If Dez Bryant would fix his attitude and actually run his routes instead of using pure ability to beat out defenders he's a top five wide-out in this league. So you have three extremely talented wideout's and a great TE. On the receiving side the Cowboys are stacked, the only difference is the Saints benefit from having a better QB.
    Miles Austin, highly overrated.

Dez Bryant cant seem to remove his head from his behind.

Laurent Robinson may be an emerging star, but to say he could be most teams #1 is a huge stretch. He benefits from extra coverage on Bryant and Witten.

Witten is a great TE, but not the same type of TE that Graham is. They have completely different skillsets.

You then have Payton who is a great playcaller vs Garrett, who is plain vanillla and conservative.

If the Cowboys offense was so great as you think, they woulda been more than a below average 8-8 team.

Also, cant mention offense without probably the most overlooked important part, the O-Line.

The Dallas Oline is atrocious compared to the Saints.

The key word was "Offense" which I didn't use, I used WR's. Graham and Witten having different skill sets? You mean their both great receiving TE's?? Not saying Witten is better than Graham but he's definitely top tier. Grahams pass blocking has improved but is definitely not better than Wittens.

I do have to agree with you though Miles Austin is overrated- if you consider 3 TD's and 143 yards against one of the best defenses in the league overrated. I think your forgetting the WR's rely on the QB to get them the ball. You can't say because the the Cowboys are 8-8 they have sub par receivers? (I can't believe I'm defending the Cowboys...)

I dont know if the Cowboys offense is conservative. Its too flashy and cute at times.

Anyway the Saints wont run on **** this week so I hope the 49ers corners and safeties havent been bailed out all year by the front 7.

            One game sir, one game.

Using that logic, Tebow should be HOF bound as he put up the most passing yards all season on the #1 pass D!!!!

Dez hasn't shown he can be the number one on his own team yet. Miles Austin is maybe a top 15 WR at this point and Robinson could probably be the number 1 WR on the Jags an Browns that's about it. Now I would compare them too the Saints because they do have weapons but their wrs when talked about as number 1s are very overrated at this point.

I highly dislike Bryant but he's a beast and the only thing holding Dez back is Dez. Miles Austin is being overlooked right now because he was injured the majority of the season. It's a little premature on Robinson but watching him play he looks to be the real deal. Just looking at the WR position the Saints and GB have more depth at the position but the Cowboys couldn't ask for a better core group of receivers when healthy.

Miles Austin isn't being overlooked because he's injured.

And If Laurent Robinson is your team's number 1 WR then it's probably because your team isn't very good and he hasn't shown anything yet to prove he can be one on a team that isn't bad.

You can be as talented as you want but until you put up at least two consecutive 1000yrd seasons then I won't even think to consider you a number 1 WR on any team, but I do agree Dez is a beast. Until he actually does it tho that's all he is, a guy with potentially an if your constantly being talked about as a guy with potential then that means you haven't done ****.

Woah I was just making a comparison in that the 49ers could have some trouble, didn't see this conversation taking off like this.

You broke the number one rule: Don't talk about the Cowboys unless it's after they lose.

smh @ 49er fans who don't even have hope that their own team can win.

very honestly, i don't look at how either team has done in the recent weeks. everything is moot and comes down to saturday. drastically different gameplans; saints about the passing attack and versatile offense, while the 49ers are about the defensive takeaways and ball control.

the lions look like they were blown out, but honestly it was very much a game until late. the only difference was that the saints could run the ball and the lions couldn't. i can almost guarantee that frank gore will have more than 21 yards. it's almost certain that the saints won't rush for 3 TD's either. If they do, I tip my hat to them because Bowman and Willis have been one of the best tandems in the league this year.
                            I do because I can, I can because I want, I want because you say I can't

Nothing yet other than he's still questionable to suit up against the 49'ers, I thought they held him out at Carolina just to be precautionary. Now that hes missed the game against the Lions I'm a little more concerned.

I hear you on potential, by the above logic though only 17 receivers in the league received for over 1,000 yards, that doesn't mean the other half of starting receivers suck just means their QB's may.

In terms of receiving core the Cowboys are the closest team that resembles the amount of weapons the Saints have offensively, and has played the 49'ers. I am not trying to give the Cowboys any undo credit especially not Dez Bryant.
