Lmao, the Saints were also playing their first preseason game with rookie starters on defense, so how else do you propose they get ready for all the blitzes they're going to have to know during the regular season?

Great article on David Akers. I didn't realize he set a few kicking records this season. It's a shame the Eagles cut him for missing those FG's in the playoffs. Payback is a true bitch though.

Think this could be the best game of the weekend. Looking forward to this. I think San Fran wins the game, if New Orleans is kept under 30 points. If they go over 30, then I lean towards New Orleans.

Im getting pretty hyped for this game-

            Quick Injury update-

Lance Moore did not participate in practice today.
            J. Vilma, and Cassillas were both limited

Roman Harper is apparently dealing with a "significant" ankle injury that was sustained against the Lions.

Harper sucks in coverage but that would be a major blow to our run D this week.

Defensively? They absolutely did. They thought they were going to punk Harbaugh and not have to worry about facing him again because they weren't scheduled. I pray they blitz like that again Saturday, because we'll be ready this time.

What would the Saints have against Harbaugh and the 49ers to want to "punk" them. Blitzing in preseason is not taboo.

I'm not saying they had anything against them, unless you believe the no phone call stuff. SF appeared to be a team NO could run it up on and try to make a statement, with no repercussions. You think they would have blitzed 23 times in one half against GB (or another perceived contender) in the 1st preseason game?

If you think those were all of GW blitzes then well you're going to be very wrong. GW has a blitz for literally every formation or situation. It's also very much different to know a team blitzes, then actually recognizing them as a team disguises them and stopping them in a game it's not as easy as it seems

The Saints certainly are the most classless of teams in the playoffs.

They run up the score on the Falcons and Lions, to go after records.

There have been a number of teams/players saying the Saints are cheap and dirty.

                            Cant wait til Saturday.

Falcons? Heh maybe but if u were in our situation you'd do the same thing. Nooone wants that passing record looming over their head for yet another week

Lions? I'm confused, they were still closing out a game against a team that could score in 1 big play.

Dirty? Roman Harper yeah. AP randomly called out Jabari Greer which is a joke considering he claimed it was underneath a pile

Lets put this into perspective here, looking back at preseason the 49'ers were definitely not a team coming into this season at 6-10 that the Saints nor most teams would need to make a statement against.
