Re: NFL Off Topic
Bledsoe has got to get in for how he sacrificed his body for the careers of Tom Brady and Tony Romo. He's more Christ-like than Tebow.[NYK|DAL|VT]

Incredible. It's like a compilation of all the players you could get away with starting in Madden because ratings didn't matter.
Some guys who've played in the NFL before and after too. Matt Bryant, Graham Gano. Okay, kickers, but come on.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

The interesting bit that I found regarding this new report is that 40% of the CTE-positive people are linemen, though that really just tells you that 40% of the sample was linemen since basically everyone tested positive.Last edited by Yeah...THAT Guy; 09-18-2015, 02:40 PM.NFL: Bills

Re: NFL Off Topic
Not really shocking considering they reported basically the same exact numbers a year ago; the sample size has just grown slightly.

Good point.
I think that's a big misconception about head injuries, especially for the long term effects. It's those smaller collisions that add up over time. It's not all extremely violent collisions.
To me, LB's and RB's are just doomed. Slamming in to the line nearly every play for a LB, running the ball 20 times a game for a RB and then being told to block a 300 pound DL on top of it.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
