Hope it's not true, planning on trying to go to that Eagles game with a bud of mine. Possibly too early for that.

Disappointing if true, visiting Seattle in October and this schedule has them away.

Bucs-Raiders seems odd for MNF double header.

The NFL just released a statement saying that the "leaked" schedule is bogus.

MODS: If you want to delete the above post regarding the schedule its fine, figured maybe we can leave it up and compare it to the one that gets released by the NFL around draft time.

              Sapp files for bankruptcy.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.—Former NFL star Warren Sapp has filed for bankruptcy in South Florida.
Court filings show Sapp filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in Fort Lauderdale on March 30. The documents show he owes more than $6.7 million to creditors and back child support and alimony. Sapp's $6.45 million in assets includes over 200 pairs of Jordan sneakers.
He also reported losing his 2002 Super Bowl ring with the Bucs and his 1991 national championship ring from the University of Miami.
TMZ.com first reported the filing. Messages left with his attorney Saturday by The Associated Press were not immediately returned.
Sapp was a former defensive tackle for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Oakland Raiders.

All the judgmental crap he says about people, and this happens to him? "Life" has a way of humbling us. I hope him the best.

                  Pathetic loser.

How anyone who made millions of dollars playing and STILL HAS A JOB can go bankrupt is beyond me.

                    Re: NFL Off Topic 2012

Full TMZ article on Sapp's bankruptcy.

Future NFL Hall-of-Famer Warren Sapp has filed for bankruptcy ... claiming he's racked up millions of dollars in debts ... but worst of all, dude claims he LOST his 2002 Super Bowl ring.

Sapp -- who played in the NFL for 12 years -- just filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy in Florida ... and in the papers he gives a full rundown of his dire financial situation.

According to the docs, Sapp owes more than $6.7 million to various creditors ... including hundreds of thousands of dollars in child support payments and alimony to at least 4 different baby mamas.

Among the debts, Sapp says he owes $853k to the IRS for 2006 and another $89k for 2010. Sapp says he also owes $2,858 in medical bills for "Corrective Speech and Language Therapy."

Sapp says he only has $6.45 million to his name ... and lists all of his assets in the documents ... which include:

-- 240 pairs of Jordan sneakers and sandals
                    -- Large Nude women painting
-- Lion skin rug (female - lioness)
                    -- Nike golf clubs
-- De Grisogono watch (scratch on crystal, nicks and scratches on band)
-- A boxing glove signed by Muhammad Ali

But most interestingly, Sapp notes he has LOST two of his most treasured and valuable possessions -- the 2002 Super Bowl ring he won with the Tampa Bay Bucs (example below) and the National Championship ring he won with the Miami Hurricanes.

In the docs, Sapp also lists his current salary as an analyst for the NFL Network as $45k per month ... $540k per year. Sapp says his deal with the NFL Network expires in August and he's not sure if the network will extend his deal.

Calls to Sapp have not been returned.
Haha "Large Nude women painting" as one of his assets. And his 540k salary still beats what most people are making.

                        Sapp likely losing TV job
Warren Sapp’s employment with the NFL Network is likely over, according to two league sources.
Sapp has not been on the network since the week of his tweets and on-air comments that labeled tight end Jeremy Shockey as the “snitch’’ in the Saints bounty scandal - something Roger Goodell said was not true.
Sapp’s next on-air appearance has not been determined, according to a source. Sapp recently filed for bankruptcy, according to TMZ.com, and the documents said his NFL Network contract, which pays him $540,000 annually, expires in August. Sapp’s contract is not expected to be renewed, a league source said. A network spokesman said discipline is an internal matter and wouldn’t confirm Sapp’s status.
Right now, it looks like the NFL Players Association will lose some $652 million over the next three seasons, and the whole nightmare of a lockout was really unnecessary.

That's nothing. I met a guy that was a manager of a Foot Locker that owned literally every single pair of Nikes that had been made since he's been working there in every color that he liked. Every time they get a new shoe in, he tries them on and picks out his size and then gets them in every color that he likes. Guy is in his 20's and his apartment is literally filled with shoe boxes, as is his room in his mother's house. Apparently his collection is worth millions.
