Well a lot of the loss is on the Redskins defense. They made Packers RBs look too good.

If they let Kirk go, then what?

Super Bowl I will air in it's entirety for the first time ever on Friday on NFLN.

Super Bowl I aired live on both NBC and CBS, but in those days, when home viewers had no way to record games and networks didn't put much thought into their archives, the game disappeared.

NFL Films went through an exhaustive process, searching through dozens of sources, and was able to find at least one camera angle of all 145 plays of the first Super Bowl and stitch it all together for the first time.

The game will air in its entirety on Friday along with audio from the original NBC radio broadcast, as well as additional footage including sideline footage of Packers coach Vince Lombardi, a postgame interview with Chiefs coach Hank Stram and a conversation between Commissioner Pete Rozelle and player-turned-broadcaster Pat Summerall.

Friday is the 49th anniversary of Super Bowl I, which was played on January 15, 1967 in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

I'd watch it just to see how much the game has changed.

It is not something I would clear my schedule for however. If it was something that was made available to stream on demand I would definitely check it out.

                    Eventually.

Back in middle school I would crush hard on this high school chick. She would later go on to become a Patriots cheerleader and have a song written about her by the lead singer of Blues Traveler. This bit of news initially upset me but she eventually married a former Patriots OL.

Turns out it wasn't that I was ugly, just not fat.

                            I have

Actually, while the game may be shown in its entirety they're going to spice it up by having their analysts chime in and make comments so there's that. I actually have a reconstruction of the entire game that uses film and the radio call. It isn't that bad so i'm wondering how the TV broadcast looks and sounds. I've actually seen a bit of '60s TV broadcast of football and it's quite primitive in a lot of ways but fun to watch from a historical perspective.

I wish RGIII all the best. I think this year he was humbled and he humbled himself (playing scout team defense). I was a fan of his and TBH still will root for his success. Having not seen him since week 3 of the pre-season not sure what kind of improvement he has made as a pocket passer, but hope that he has and will get an opportunity to compete for a job. I'll always have the run of 2012 as a fond reminder of him.

Yeah, I don't think RGIII is a bad guy per se. He was put into a screwy situation and had such huge success to start his career that he thought he was infallible especially since he and Snyder were portrayed as BFFs in the media. I have a feeling the last couple years has humbled him a great deal. I'm also curious to see if he's made any strides as a pocket passer AND as someone who can actually read the entire field. One of the knocks against him was that he was good at reading one side of the field but he'd completely ignore the other side.

If he lands somewhere that has a good solid foundation and doesn't have a lot of drama going on then I can see him finding his way back and being productive again.
