He'll get one of those Kaepernick fake money deals and we'll all overreact at first before all the details come out.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: NFL Off Topic
Had they won today he could be in for a big payday, but as it is now, he is not sniffing $20 million a year.
A deal that averages 14-15 per year is what he should expect.Comment

Where are y'all getting $20 Mil from? Or is that just a number y'all made up?#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Year one of the franchise tag would be $20 million. Skins have said they are okay with that number. Extrapolating at team friendly number.

Re: NFL Off Topic
At least I hope they would not be okay with it.
They could sign a phantom deal with those numbers where the plan would be to restructure (like Flacco), but I don't think Cousins has done anything to warrant coming close to that.
I also don't expect someone else to sign a deal like Kap's now that we know how well that worked out for him.
I could see tagging him and returning to the table after a full season where he is the unquestioned guy. It is a risky move for both sides though.Comment

What'd Alex Smith get?
I'd probably look at that as the benchmark for what I would pay Kirk.#RespectTheCultureComment
