Set your DVR! It's gonna be a good one.
Documentaries require some sort of drama, right? At least, that's what these 30 for 30 things are supposed to present. What drama was there with these Bills teams?

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

How about making 4 straight SB's and losing them ALL??? That's pretty dramatic. Also what drama is there in Hard Knocks or the Road to the Winter Classic? The only drama I can think of in Hard Knocks is in week 3 when we learn starters and maybe at some point they showing some random guy get cut.

Quick! Name the other teams that made 4 straight Super Bowls and didn't win any of them.

I think there's a bit more "drama" than you give them credit for, especially what the show is really supposed to be about, which is basically a day in the life of an NFL Franchise.

The Bills/Giants was one of the most dramatic Super Bowls ever. But yeah, after that the games were just blowouts. Still plenty of drama to be had in how Buffalo got to those SB's though.

How about that playoffs game where they came back from like 28 points down to the Oilers/Titans and Frank Reich led the comeback.

Of course that team lost in the SB too.

Exactly what point are you trying to make?

They could make a 30 for 30 about either of these... why does that mean the Bills legacy isn't worthy of one.

This is a rebuttal to prove making it to 4 straight SBs isn't worth a 30 for 30? And that's not even including losing every one, adding to the story.

Yea what does that have to do anything? Would like a 30 on 30 for those as well.

Not sure what point you're trying to make Speedy.

Speedy are you forgetting that the Yankees won every year in those 4 years except 1 (2001 and even then they had a chance to win as they lost in 7).

Yeah...I realized you meant lost a championship; was going to edit that out then just deleted it.

The second Super Bowl against the Cowboys (the 30-13 one) was reasonably close for a while from what I remember.

Yeah. Looked it up. The Bills led 13-6 at halftime. Emmitt and the Cowboys dominated the second half.

Yeah, the Cowboys made adjustments while the Bills kept doing the same thing over and over again. The dink and dunk stuff was working very well in the 1st half but the Cowboys put up the pressure in the 2nd half and clogged up the passing lanes.

BTW as for drama let us not forget that before the Bills made those 4 trips to the SBs they were known as the "Bickering Bills". There was a lot of tension in that locker room and even into the SB run the guys had an arrogance that rubbed each other in bad ways at times. Marv Levy did an incredible job keeping that squad motivated and ready to play every Sunday.

Today, the core of those Bills teams are like family but for stretches they hated each other and couldn't stand the sight of one another.
