Cris Carter should keep his mouth shut. That's some wild accusations though he's right that doing synthetic is the better sounding story.

Re: NFL Off Topic
I wondered the same thing (was it REALLY synthetic weed?) when the story first came out, but I nearly spit my water out on my way to work when I heard CC say this lol.NFL: Bills

Re: NFL Off Topic
Of course synthetic is the better sounding story. Compared to murder its a better sounding story. Compared to riding shotgun with Wayne Brady its a better sound story. Still, Cris Carter needs to keep his mouth shut about **** he doesn't know, but considering he's an ESPN employee he's encouraged to talk about **** he knows nothing about.
Its no wonder some of these players take a defensive stance to the media.

Re: NFL Off Topic
Well I mean its Chris Carter if anyone would know the tell tale signs of being on a PCP bender....Unless you believe he was the only alcoholic in the history of alcoholics to not dabble in other recreational substances.Moderator

He preferred cocaine. He's actually been open about his drug use. Never heard him mention PCP.Comment

Chris Mortensen has Stage 4 throat cancer. Not technically an NFL player, but given his role in the NFL media, I figured this was the place to post it.NFL: Bills

Re: NFL Off Topic
From what I read on the internet (so it's true) stage 3 can do that also, but is still 3 based on size - http://www.texasoncology.com/types-o...of-the-throat/
Either way, sounds like Stage 4 is probably not as scary as it sounds, unless it's progressed further beyond than the local area.
Stage III and IV cancers of the throat are referred to as locally advanced. These cancers are large and/or have spread to regional lymph nodes. Stage III cancers are more than 4 centimeters in diameter or any size with spread to a single lymph node on the same side of the neck as the primary cancer. The lymph node containing the cancer can measure no more than 3 centimeters (just over 1 inch). Stage IV cancers are those which have spread to adjacent tissues. The lymph nodes may or may not contain cancer or the cancer may be any size but has spread to more than one lymph node on the same side of the neck as the cancer, to lymph nodes on one or both sides of the neck, or to any lymph node that measures more than 6 centimeters (over 2 inches) in diameter.Comment

Sad, when I saw ESPN Insiders the week before the playoffs started you could tell right away something was wrong with him.OSHA Inspector for the NBA.Comment
